Non ISD members posting replies to seemingly "redundant" posts made up solely of a forum rule quote and "reported" contribute nothing to the thread/topic and just add to the forum clutter.

They tend to do this especially if it's an idea/suggestion/question they dont personally like.

it'll happen as long as ppl don't use the search function before they post. Some ppl dont even check the first three pages of threads. Making a 'no mini-modding rule' will just mean the 'mini-modders' posts get deleted, but they wont stop making them.

More annoying than ppl saying a thread is redundant is having to repeat urself for the thousandth time.

edit- If this is about this thread, then yes its been talked to death.

If people don't support an idea, then they should just not reply to it and let it drop down the list. It seems a lot of people can't just stand by when a thread offends them.

So only people who support an idea should post in an idea thread?????

How then do you get a discussion on the merits and drawbacks of an idea?

Opposition to an idea is just as important as support.
