So I warp into a mission and manage to get a bear to aggro my frigate.

I want to use an orca to hold myself a hurri or somthing along those lines (on another char).

Do I just poop it out and hop in as fast as I can and try to get point back on the bear?

What is the ideal tactic in this sittuation?


The only other thing I can think of is to grab aggro on a nice bait ship by repping my primary attacker. Hopefully he shoots and I'm able to put point on him while I snag the hurri.

Any NinjaGankers got experience with this?

My recollection is that they recently changed game mechanics so that you cant use a orca to change ships while your opponent has active offensive mods on you. You can still warp to a safe (if you are not pointed) and switch ships with an orca and then warp back - but you cant do it on the fly anymore.

you can re-fit your ship though, so from a mining rokh to a fighting rokh

How to Ninja kill missing running care bears with a bait ship and an Orca.


  • Find mission runner
  • Steal Loot
  • Get Shot
  • Get Point
  • Keep Point <- (hard in disposable bait ship)
  • Warp in Orca
  • Fly Orca to mission runner
  • Bump mission runner with Orca if mission runner aligned
  • Launch ship from Orca into space
  • Board ship in space, leaving bait ship to die
  • Get point before mission runner re-aligns
  • Get Ransom / Kill / LOL <- (FUN!)
  • Build new bait ship
  • Repeat


First ninja Orca patch prevented directly boarding a ship while Red boxed.
Second ninja Orca patch prevented scooping a ship that is targeted. (this was / is "we-todd-did")

Stupid bears will still die, mostly because they are stupid. Nerfing the Orca will not prevent me from using my training to do what I enjoy.
