Launcher won't start - python27.dll

I left for 3 days and came back and now the launcher says it cannot update and gives me a big log error.

I ran repair.exe and after it was done the launcher wont start at all instead i get a python27.dll error.

Funny thing i am running on Windows 7 and never had a similar issue and nothing changed with my software or hardware configuration in the past 3 days.

Error Message when starting the launcher: " The specified module could not be found LoadLibrary (pythondll) failed."


any help other than the obvious re-install advice? I can't download the whole thing all over again right now; limited internet quota.

Your description was not very specific, but it sounds like a required DLL file is either missing or corrupt. Reinstalling the game will most likely resolve that, I would imagine.

can someone do me a favor and upload python27.dll to a file host for me please?

I want to try something and hopefully I can get the game running again. I can't afford to re-download the whole thing.

My husband ran the repair procedure again after restarting the machine and the problem got fixed.
