With skillbooks it's also a good idea to inject as many as you can instead of carrying them around in your ship. That puts them safely inside your head where you can still train them later, instead of the possibility of losing them if your ship goes boom.

How so? Warp speed is the same for both.

Do we? I've always assumed that only a few misguided individuals use AP.

this ... and newbros.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Thanks alot, looks like I have to do the 13 jumps again *facepalm*
And one more question: I would like to transit the books from my alt to my main, but apparently I cannot log on two accounts at the same time. Is there an alternate way to do this?

I regularly do 30 jump trips across high/low sec in frigates. The key is to pick something with a fast warp speed. Preferably 6.0au/s or faster. The concord or caldari shuttle will be good choices for fast traveling when starting. Also, as stated above, never autopilot.

As for transferring items, look up the contract system. Be careful with this though as the action will show up on your API so if you give out your api to say a corp that you're joining, they will be aware of both characters. A way to get around this is to jettison items at a planet, and scoop them with the other character.
