As stated in the subject, it just gives me the loading icon and nothing more.

Ok, i restarted the game and now other players come up after a nice wait and my guy is neon green and orange.

My toon is still neon green and orange in full body view. I don't remember choosing the incredible hulks brother in a dumb and dumber suit. And when you rotate a person the whole back half is black like the shadow just stuck to them.
