Can not join eve voice fleet channels

Whats broken:
Joining fleet eve voice channel (and sub chanels i.e. wing and squad)

When does it happen:
When joining a new fleet, usually they are already on comms (i get this when joining public incursion fleets)

steps to reproduce:
1) form fleet and have people join voice
2) join fleet
3) attempt to join fleet

attempted fixes:
1) rejoin fleets
2) run eve client repair tool
3) confirm all eve voice settings

Workaround:
fleet boss needs to re enable eve voice on the fleet, using he popup will result in being able to join eve voice

any comments/suggestions?

navigate to eve folder install location
find eve.exe (or what's the name of eve executable)
Launch it by double-clicking from there

Then, in game
Double-click on the speaker icon in the fleet window, the very top 1 near the fleet commander location (not the top row of buttons)

Is this only happening with Incursion fleets or all fleets?

Friend of walking avatars, currently hibernating until he gets to open that door.

I've been having the same problem. I can no longer right click the Fleet chat channel and press "Join Audio" even if the audio is enabled. The only way I've been able to join eve voice for fleet is to open the fleet window, right click Fleet Channel button, and press join channel.

this was happening in all fleets i attempted (mainly incursion fleets)

I did finally find a fix by running eve as an administrator, however my PTT for TS no longer works when i do this.

Quite annoying really as i need to pick talking to my corp, or being able to run incursions.

the previous fix of having the FC re enable voice no longer works BTW
