Just as soon as we can gank you in game, via a button on the forums, for posting stupid ideas.

You mad? Lol
Nope, your suggestions aren't new, and have been discussed to death multiple times in the past. If you want to see pods pop, do it yourself instead of asking for an NPC to do it for you.

Nah, concord should pod players. Mission NPCs should pod as well. Players should get podded in the tutorials as an early lesson in being podded. There should be steep costs to ganking. As with being able to dock in the safety of a station with negative sec standings. We should also have a chance of out running concord with our pod too. It shouldnt be instant lock/pop. Should be as in pvp, if you're quick, you can get away.

Well, you're an NPC, so get podding.

You do understand that the factions and Concord aren't precisely BFFs, right?

You haven't even made an effort to explain why they would care about a "criminal" docking. Is the criminal a threat to them? No. Do they have any reason to clutch their pearls at the sight of a garden-variety space criminal? Not really.

You could make an argument about low standings, but bad security status? There's no reason they would give more than zero fucks about that.

Well technically they care if you are in their space so I don't see it as too far fetched if they were to also deny docking in their station. I am not in favor of this change but it kinda make sense based on that.

No, the faction police care. Why the **** would, e.g., Ishukone care? Are they the faction police? Do they have any reason to really care that Bob the pod pilot shot some other pilots? Is Bob going to light up their station? No? So what's it to them?

Not that I really care but I believe the answers to your questions are the same reason a company like google wouldn't harbour a fugitive.

Now if you offered them money to look the other way or had past dealings with them maybe they wouldn't sell you out.

Well if Bob has bad standings with the station's corp, they won't give him missions or character location service. The same should apply to docking with a bad security status.

Hell, there should be fees for docking in a station you have bad standings with, and if you have below a -5 security, you should have to pay at any station in highsec just to dock. -5 would be 5 million isk, going up to 10 million isk for -10, and this paymemt would guarantee docking permissions at that station for 2 hours.

If you're neutral to an npc corp, but have negative sec status below -5, you pay at any station. If you have negative status with a corp but higher than -5 security, then you only have to pay a fee to dock at that corps stations. Docking permits.

Ok, update on the 3M global front:

After 3 phone calls, it turns out that 3M global has nothing at all to do with Online Gaming. It was their opinion that this should be handled internally and that their company should not be involved at all.

The customer relations department was not sure why the universe of New Eden would be boycotting 3M for any reason. They wanted me to pass along that 3M is a global chemical company that does a lot for both its corporate and commercial customers, and if there are any questions, to please feel free to email them via the contact information on their website.

They are respectfully asking to leave them out of this, and I believe that highsec should obey their wishes.

Way to go highsec.. you are angry and entitled, and now you are taking it out on a poor defenseless multi-nation corporation.

I hope you are happy with yourselves.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Funny how real life sort of bleeds into a game..."entitled"...where have I heard that trip word before? Uh...not that you are of the bumper sticker mentality ilk....noooooooo.

(By the way - 3M isn't 3-M... not that you'd be deceptive or anything remotely like that. Some dogmatics wonder why their dogma isn't readily accepted by the sheeple...doncha know?)

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

BEST thing to avoid gankers! FLY IN A TANKED fleet... With the boost to procs and skiffs. + all the drones, Gankers won't bother you unless they want to risk more money!
so here is my NO to the boycott

and a yes to FLEET FLEET FLEET!

MINING MANUFACTURING MARKETING

The 3 Ms that make this show run are now being boycotted.
All miners, manufacturers and marketers cease your activities immediately.
Go mission. Mission. Mission. Mission.

When the gankers LEAVE, or CCP WAKES UP, we'll then resume putting
those all-important goods on the shelves for player consumption.

UNTIL THEN, we have standings to raise, security status to raise,
and we can live off what we get doing that OTHER M - MISSIONING.

The boycott is up. Join, or be the author of your own demise - aid the gankers ganking YOU.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA.... Oh wait, you're being serious.

If it's all the same to you, I'll just keep on manufacturing. Gankers are some of my best customers and even when they don't directly buy my products they help drive the market demand for the stuff I build. Not to mention they are valued members of the Eve community and hugely beneficial to the game for a host of reasons.. Why would I ever want them to leave?

But go ahead, stop manufacturing etc etc. More ISK in my wallet.

Obviously it's a 10.

Definitely a 10. 9 pages of emotional responses while she sits on her trollbone throne, cooly sipping a Martini. Flawless victory.

Think it'll make 15 pages before being locked?

You do understand that repeating yourself isn't actually an argument, right?

If Bob has bad standings with a corp, the corp won't give him stuff because the corp doesn't like him.

If Bob has bad security status, that says abso-*******-lutely nothing about how any individual corp regards Bob. They have no reason to care about his security status, at all.

HOW DARE YOU! EVERYONE LOVES BOB!

Well except for people in k-space. Maybe you're right.

So how is this boycott thing working out? I ask because I haven't noticed a difference, though I do agree with thw above posters. 10/10. I never thought this would go so far.

Should we change the rating system to one point per page?
