I'm not sure whether this is related to the issue I have had when fleet mining with people from a different corp. If a member of another corp has jettisoned a can, even if they are in the same fleet as me, I can't stack my ore on top of theirs. I can still put ore in the can, but it has to be in its own stack. The original creator of the jetcan then has to take care of stacking everything.
