Hello, I've been searching for a long time how to run this game, I've done everything explained in another posts I found in the internet about this.

1. Create the batch file eve2.bat with ExeFile.exe direction in.
2. Mark the checkboxes indicated.
3. Press RUN, but I get the game not responding or with the SM3 error.

What can I do for the game to run? I'd love to play the game to mine a bit while I'm out of home with the laptop.

Thanks,
InF3RNo.

3D-Analyze is a tool that emulates shader models up to 2.0 on hardware incapable of it.

EVE requires SM3 to run nowadays, so that piece of software will not be able to help you ANYMORE.
It was useful back when EVE only needed SM2, but now it's useless.

There is no SM3 emulator software AFAIK, nor did I ever hear about anybody bothering to make some.
You'll just have to buy new hardware.

Notification of shader model change is here.
And in that is a little shader testing program.

Enjoy Big smile

Or don't in this case Oops

Believe in what they do, not what they say.

Transgaming's SwiftShader does emulate SM3.

However, when I tried the demo on a GMA 950 a few months ago I wouldn't get past the EVE login screen which would partially load (without SM3 warning).

Tried that program, copied the d8 and d9 and ini file into the game folder but didn't get it working, before the 3D character implementation in the game I had 10 FPS.

A pity I can't play the game in this laptop, tried to use teamviewer to access my computer at home but it's too slow, I almost got killed by rats in the belt with my mining love machine.
