Range/tracking drone bonus from mods/ships not applying?

It's so since kronos,

even using a ship with drone bonuses (like dominix) or mods (like omnidirectional tracking link) the show info window of deployed drone doesn't state any change...

question: are "improved" stats applying at all? or they are effective but it's simply a info window "refresh" that is missing?

The stats for drones in the deployed window don't show correctly in-game. If I'm not mistaken, the only way to see the drone stats is undock, turn on the omni with your preferred script, and check the show info on the drone in the dronebay window in the fitting screen. Honestly though, I just use EFT/Pyfa for all this, in-game stats are pretty terrible.

This. CCP has stated that the fact that in-space drones not showing correct stats is a bug and they are working on it.

Well it kinda is a big problem, if your running lvl 4s and just rolling without reading like me you might just stock a couple different kinds of sentries so you can just pop out what is needed for what ever type of npc happens to show up based on damage type. but of coarse that is also gonna change range and accuracy. Adding up skills and mods and ship bonuses for each type is annoying. I will eventually memorize that too I guess but it would be really nice to just see the right info when I look at the info. Else I might as well just use evelopedia for as accurate as it is, lol.

The modules still affect the stats on the ones in your drone bay though...

3 Omnis scripted for range will get bouncers out to nearly every single spawn in L4s.

Gardes for pure dps.

The one you assist them to needs to use an aggressive module to make them attack, such as a gun or a target painter. For non-fighter drones they stop working if you warp off of course.

They will also only assist if they are in control range of the mothership.

Didn't remember this! it's a lot since last time i used the assist command :S

btw i've even noticed (checking info window of drones in cargo bay) that bonus from omnidir track link is ALWAYS on optimal range. nvm if it's not loaded with script or if u have the tracking one.... u always see only the optimal range increased when it's on (didn't check for ships with tracking bonuses like dominix)
