Can I Name My Drones?

I have over 600 drones in my carrier

All of them have names.

ALL. OF. THEM.

Haha, seriously messing with players that have a cluttered overview, quickly mass rename them with the guys names you are fighting or writing sentences with your drones ... drone poetry maybe ?

Would do this simply to rename all my drones to "Zergling" so i can technically proxy zergling rush people while yelling in local "FOR THE SWARM". Would probably rename my ship "Hatchery" or "Hive".

Not a troll post. I actually want this. I don't know much about the coding admittedly, however when you run a d-scan you already see that the drones appear to have names so I (without being sure) would assume it wouldn't be too server heavy of a thing to do. As it is you can already name things in the game for basically no reason so why not drones too?

I support this though it sounds like a low-priority addition to the game, considering how fragile Drones can be.

I'll take it- I really would like this a lot, and I doubt it'd be that hard to implement- it could be the same as ships- named while unpackaged, but repackage it and it resets.

Bro do you even TIDI?

Let me tell you how much more the Hamsters will love you the next time a huge brawl happens and the poor little guys now have to account for thousands of different drone names. This is not something that is going to help tidi at all folks. CCP is trying to reduce drone node cpu useage, not increase it.
