Any more Balance changes prior to AT?

Hi,

Rise has posted that next on the ship balance priority are tweaks to HACs and BShips - will this be prior to the AT or .. ?

Chances are no.

But, if one Meta is used throughout the AT, there will be heavy nerfs and the ships will cost more (points wise) next year. And it will have nothing to do with the AT at all!

There was a fairly significant patch during the NEO II tournament. (Damp nerf, Celestis Nerf, logi frig buff, ewar being able to heat) so I wouldn't rule them out of doing it.

Given CCP's new Schedule of releasing 10 Expansions per year. The previous one being June 3rd, with Crius coming on July 22nd. (7 weeks later), we can probably assume that the expansion following Crius would be around about 26th August/2nd September region. Which would put it as taking place during the tournament. Whether or not there will be any balancing elements that affect the alliance tournament is yet to be seen, CCP Rise has tentatively mentioned that the next thing up for a balance pass are Battleships and Heavy Assault Cruisers. So we could well see significant changes to how things will play out on the final/second weekend.

Although obviously the only people who actually know are CCP themselves.
