Block button is useless. You block 20-30 scamers on the first day, and then, on the second day, day there are many more new "less than one day" old scamming throwaway alts again.

There would be a solution for this.

An automatic blocker (or filter) based on rules (something like you can see in outlook). It would block players based on certain words and phrases (like isk doubling service, read my bio, or cheap PLEX etc)

You mean in-game? I'd like to just see an end to station spamming. If you want to spam the star system, you do it undocked. Then Pirate them out. They are hiding behind a protective system, it should stop. Yeah like jita, the chat channel has become completely useless due to this.

better yet, finish WiS. So you can crawl through the vents, jimmy the security lock, and slip pieces of your hair into their fridged food, and small doses of sleeping pills into their milk cartons. not enough to knock them out, just enough so they feel something is a little off the whole day, a little sluggish, not as enthusiastic. then, start moving there furniture around a few inches every day.

THEN and only then, you sneak into their apartment in the dead of night, skin them, and display their hide as a framed piece of art outside your quarters, as a warning to those who come after.

Or, you know, you could be boring and just re-enact scenes from Wanted with their face.

The best button for this is "Jump through stargate". Just leave Jita.

Why should i leave my main isk income system? I just proposed a solution for blocking annoying "throwaway alts" that cannot be blocked as they are born everyday. If you dont have anything to say on topic, please dont say anything at all.. Thank you..

Thats like going through a street market and complaining about the merchants advertising their stuff too loud.

In RL, the solution is earplugs. In EVE, close local chat.

Well, if any such system was to be implemented the easiest way to do it, as I see it, would be to allow pilots to be blocked solely based on age of pilot. When you go into a trade hub you could block all pilots less than, say 3 months, and that would eliminate very very few true new players and block most of the spam scam/ isk doubling alts, and they few it misses can easily be manually blocked.

Assuming your "main isk system" is trading....then couldn't you just move 1 jump over and do the same thing other than a few hops back and forth to drop off stuff? If it's not trading then please disregard this advice and utilize the "Close local" advice instead.

hah yeah... the OP is looking for a way to fix the game, not a way to have it close down forever. But nice to see the sales-hype dream lives on, for sake of micro-transaction platform sales, only shows the power of empty promises for everyone else to recognize and avoid.

so inherently by having avatars given something to do the rest of the game shuts down entirely. right better warn Blizzard, Perfect World International, hell, every other MMO on the market that they are about to die because they made the mistake of having avatars in their game.

Not saying EVE NEEDS avatars to survive, just there IS stuff you could justify doing with them, and it doesnt harm it.

I dotn even see why your getting so butthurt and defensive, CCP has already roled out their 5 year schedule, all your precious little self-entitled things are already slated to be fixed long before CCP even has an opening in their schedule.

Uhm,

Because there is no need to actually be in Jita.

Unless you are a scammer or part of the FedEx/UPS of EVE.

There is something called remotely using the market.
