Singularity is currently experiencing database problems, which are being investigated. Login through the launcher is for example not possible and many systems are down.

I'll update with more information as soon as I get it.

I guess that this error of the launcher is the result? Thanks for your announcement, already wondered!

Well, serious news: the database of Singularity is irreversibly damaged and needs to be re-mirrored. Oops

We had already planned a mirror for Singularity for the next few days, this incident will accelerate this process slightly, BUT: Singularity will be down / in VIP mode for at least today and tomorrow . We hope that we can open it again at some point on Wednesday or on Thursday. I'll keep this thread updated with as much information as possible.

probably those Rogue drones! They saw a chance to cause massive heart attacks in a number of capsulars who tend to shoot them for no good reason, then loot and salvage their wrecks.

:D

Would it be possible to alter the mirror script so that *highsec* POSes (and the jobs in them) aren't nuked when the mirror is taken? There's no intel to protect for highsec POSes (unlike lowsec, nullsec, and WH POSes). This would allow you to test the Crius upgrade script's handling of in-progress jobs. It also would make life incrementally easier for people to test POS things on Sisi.

All poses everywhere get wiped for intel reasons regardless of location.

Normally I would deny this request, but I will bring it up with our DB specialists, as we are messing around with the mirror preparation scripts anyway. It is still quite unlikely as deleting only some POS structures is much slower and more failure prone than deleting whole DB tables.

I approve of this new feature, and eagerly await the reaction to its introduction on TQ.

Seriously though, good luck tracking this issue down. Database issues can be a nightmare. Especially TrollSQL. Oops

CCP Habakuk,

The script (if any?) to convert TQ Kronos Compressed ore block count to that of Crius will be run during this mirror?

I'd love to check the outcome for Pyroxeres and Crokite Cool

How does something like that happen, and is TQ ever at risk for that?

I would assume SiSi isn't backed up as it is not a 'production' server, so if TQ had problems they would restore a backup and roll forward any logs.
