Hello!
Is there a web service which allow to scan the fleet finder periodically and list the available fleets for a character/corporation member?

I would like to send notification/mails to subscribers when an available fleet is up for them.

Thanks

Nope. The fleet finder has no api, so it can't be automatically scanned.

... that would be so cool... however since available fleets is not something stored in the DB the EVE API has no access. :(

Maybe once CREST is available.

Ok :) Thank you for your quick answers!

Maybe I can make my own cheap scanner :

If I have an online corped alt, is it possible with an ingame web app to check the fleet finder every minute and update a personal database with it?

Then I use this database on my corporation website for example, to broadcast fleets availables to the corporation.

Afraid not. There's no way to automatically scrape out the fleet data. Sad

It's a (long term) option I can see a bunch of potential in. So every so often, I'll see about poking people about it.

Just a thought on this but you'll need to do some research because I don't know anything really about the client cache. If the info is cache then something like the market scanners might be possible you'd have to probably get with someone that knows more about the client cache to see if the fleet information is stored like market data or not but if it is I'm sure something could be created to do what you want.

CCP FoxFour might know if the data is there as well.
