Temporary leave

I was in alliance on the list on 24th of April.

Do I have to stay in the corporation i was in the entire time to stay eligible or can I leave for a few days up to a week to do some solo things?

I have several other characters and accounts that I will do some things with and it would be nice if my character could join the corporation. Of course only one character will be attending the alliance tournament.

Please clarify the conditions for attending ATXII. If the information is already written somewhere in a way that isn't dubious let me know.
Thank you for your time.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

Leaving that alliance for any reason makes you ineligible.

Even if you go into an alt corp?
One that isn't in any alliance?

What if I bring my alt corp into the alliance and then join it?

If you stay within the same alliance it's fine.

I'm not sure if this is being handled differently this year than last, but I know that last year CAStabouts was told that even moving from one corp to another within the same alliance would make you ineligible for the tournament since you have to drop corp in order to move, which also precluded our transferring characters from one person to another within the alliance.

I guess I'd like a clarification as well, then. Last year my no-training Jita shopping alt ended up flying for CAStabouts because we were so desperately short of pilots and eligible alt characters after all the rulings came down. If some of those restrictions have eased, CAS can go ahead with some of the movements we'd planned for fall. Unlike last year, however, I'm content with just a general answer on the forums and won't seek to renew my penpal status with CCP Gargant (who btw is a lovely correspondent).

Always,

Boiglio (evidently still not quite over last year, since it still feels like a kick to the gut to type that, but completely hyped to fly again)

You don't have to drop corp, just remove roles and wait 24h. Char transfer between accounts is ofc different, but I don't think that is what the op was after.

Nah I meant corporation transfers.

I petitioned and from what I read it isn't advisable but permanent disqualification if you don't join a corp in another alliance isn't a thing.

Still not advised because it is on character to character basis and therefore incurs a lot of work to CCP.
