While I was running some missions earlier today I recieved a call from this area code from Jamaica [876]. If you recieve any calls from this area code and the article pretty well explains it, report it to your local law enforcement.

so not only you are implying that someone has access to CCP databases to cross reference between characters and accounts and thus get access to credit card information, but also access to the creditcard company DB to also cross reference between credit card numbers and phone numbers?

and if someone has that kind of access why would they call you?

isn't it a better explanation that both the call and you playing eve are the two completely unrelated events?

still, you are right, if someone calls you from another country and tries to sell you a mailbox, bridge or the moon, you should probably forward it to law enforcement, as im sure they don't own either the bridge or the mailbox (not sure about the moon). and even if they do, there are laws against soliciting via phone.

If a stranger calls you from the Southern Hemisphere, it's a scam.

I had a call from Nigeria I think, asking for my details. I began by reciting the names of my goats. He hung up pretty fast.
