CO Gantry BPC LP store costs

The cost at the CONCORD LP store needs to be reduced because it is currently pointless for anyone to use their LP for that; FW can make 3k ISK/LP selling at 19 mil which is less than just the 20 mil base cost at the CONCORD store. Correct me if I am wrong about the CONCORD price being 20 mil + 6k LP.

I think the proper way to balance it is to have the base costs be the same while just the LP portion is less for FW - this is the way it is with other items like faction ships (which is another topic but the LP costs for those through non FW channels are completely absurd).

From my viewpoint these BPC's are supposed to be bought/farmed for with FW.
View the offer at the Concord LP store as an security measure not an real alternative.
If prices on these get too crazy it becomes worthwhile to purchase them with Concord LP.

So they are capped by Concord LP Price in the case of high demand, and by FW LP otherwise.

I don't see the issue with it beeing cheaper in FW when there are enough other options to spend Concord LP, with Incursion runners getting a nice amount of ISK upfront too.
It doesn't hurt to give an incentive for people to go into FW. Big smile

Security against what, everyone quitting FW? Having a FW ISK making alt I certainly approve of the FW avenue being the more cost-effective one.

And they are not capped by the concord LP price because that is not the problem, the problem is that the concord version costs 20 mil cash in addition to the LP while the FW store only charges 10 mil cash, which means even if the concord buyers take 0 ISK for their LP they are still undercut by FW buyers who are getting over 3K/LP.

Look at fleet ships, if I am willing to take 0 ISK/LP then the prices are the same for FW or regular store. I am not aware of anything else where the difference in price is to be found in the base cost as well as the LP cost.

Again, the issue is not the LP cost, it is the ISK cost.

Against that exactly. If there would be no FW players around to supply them (or not enough) the price would rise until its worthwhile to buy them from Concord.

If you only view the Concord store as an "emergency" source for the bpc's how is that a Problem? Just don't buy them from Concord if it doesn't make sense to do so.

I simply don't view the fact that its more expensive to purchase from Concord as an Issue. Even if that means you can't make a profit buying them from Concord while there are enough FW people around to sell them.

The short answer is do FW instead of running Incursions. If that doesn't appeal to you spend you CONCORD LP on something more lucrative and buy gantry bpcs from people who do FW.
