Because there is such a thing as doing it wrong. Being afk in open space is doing it wrong. And since this is a sandbox, and I can do as I please within the rules of the game, I blow up other players.

EVE is a sandbox. It's about whatever I want it to be about. And for me, it's about blowing people up. It just makes it easier that so many of them refuse to do anything to defend themselves.

Eve is not about +permantly+ shooting the weakest.
If the weak could be bothered to take precautions against getting shot and use the tools available to them, which incidentally is a good example of how to play Eve, they wouldn't get shot Roll The strong preying on the weak is pretty much human nature in action.

It's not just some cherrypicked piece, minerbumping has one of those every week. I personally have dozens of those saved on my hard drive, and I'd have about four times that many if I hadn't had my last one die on me last year.

In the meantime, please show me the pics of gankers raging out in local at the sight of someone's alliance ticker, make vile sexual insults and death threats.

Indeed. I can honestly say in the time I spent as anti pirate, I never once received any hate mail or bad words in local.

On the other hand, being a pirate has seen my inbox fill with hate, personal attacks and death threats. With lots of choice words in regards to my mother. For some reason many have a fixation on ones mother, not sure why.
