Battleship skill learning to Black Ops.

I started a new pilot which specialized in (Gallente) Battleship skills as he trains for Black Ops.

I'm now learning Drone Interfacing IV and Navigation IV.

Drone Interfacing IV is required for Sentry drones which I have yet to verify the differences from Heavy.
I still have to test my Gecko drones, but I don't want to lose those.

Navigation IV is required for Micro Jump Drive Operation.

Is the recent history for skills learned.


The pilot can now fix his Battleship for free, including armor and hull with Large Repair modules.
That alone is worth 10 million each time or more.
It is easy to tank with a Battleship even though the align time to warp is slow.
It can still be warp scrambled and webbed.

June 18,
Mechanics V is required for Large Hull Repair module.

June 13,
Trajectory Analysis is required for Tracking Computer I.

Advanced Drones Avionics is required for Empire Faction ECM Drones.

Surgical Strike is required for 3% damage bonus per level of all weapon turrets.
Trajectory Analysis and Surgical Strike are required for Large Hybrid Turret Mastery 1 .

June 12,
Connections IV gives 4% standing to friendly NPC Corp and Factions.

June 10,
Drones Sharpshooting IV increases drone optimal range.

June 9,
Drone Interfacing III is required for Drone Interfacing IV, required for Sentry Drone .
10% to drone damage and mining yield / level.

June 8,
Large Hybrid Turret 1 allows for Long Range Large Hybrid Turret.
50km +
Optimum range of 14km or 29 km +

Gunnery V is required for Large Hybrid Turret 1 .

June 4,
Remote Sensing is required for Planetary Interaction.

Interplanetary Consolidation allows one more planet.
I could now use 2 which I will try to get now.
(I only have to verify which item sells. I don't make PI processing now.)

Medium Drone Operation 3, GM Skill Gift (I am not sure why)

Salvaging 3
Social 5

May 29,
Medium Hybrid Turret 3 is required for Long Range Large Hybrid Turret.
Target Painting 1 speeds up targeting or makes it easier.

Nice description of your skills but posting an Eveboard link would be easier. Plus it would show all of your skills making it easier for advice.

I have a few like, what is the optimum learning path for a Black Ops?

I mean, which attributes must be remapped and when and so on.


For now, the reason I did choose and run Battleship was because I ran missions with it.
I also wanted to see how well it would tank.

I could have tried to fight Amarr Customs Officers but I didn't take my drones out then.


My active time expires on the 22 or 23 though.

I have a skill plan for widow, but that won't be what you need. I'd suggest working it out in evemon.
Black Ops is no tank. It's just a taxi service, nothing more. Would like to see CCP change that, with options, but for now that's really all it is. If you tank it, you may as well use something else, like a pirate faction BS. If you plan to train marauder it may be worth it to get black ops, as far as training T2 BS and the skill time into the two.

Oh no.
My Active time expires in 15 hours.
I just have enough time to add a skill now.
Drone interfacing IV completes in 2H.

I will probably get 2 more hours so I can learn Sentry drones.
I should have left last night though as it is all useless.
I have no use for this and PLEX buying and Character Bazaar is still 10,000 to 20,000 % more profit to me.
Instead of losing 14,532 % which is a difference of 34,532% (20,000 % profit + 14,532 % loss = 34,532%).

That is 300% more than the best business annual profit globally.


Edit:
I have 45 + BS fits for the Dominix and none of them include any fits from EVE Mon or other offline that I can't access...
Or Black Ops yet.
I took , Drone Durability 3 but I have to verify whether it is for Dominix or Black Ops.
I will try to post them.

black ops dont have as much tank as a bs, also worth running a batch of heavy armor maint drones which will help you tank better, blops are used for fights you know you can win really, jump in ontop of the target, align out, kill targets mjd out and cloak up.

i wouldnt even undock my blops solo and definatly wouldnt run missions with a 2bil worth of ship which is not meant to run missions, they are great fleet ships with bombers and other blops

Black Ops is a support role, usually handled by an alt, as all they really do is bridge, as blops ships are relatively weak in combat.

Bridging Skills (in order of importance):
* Jump Portal Generation 1
* Jump Drive Calibration 5
* Jump Fuel Conservation 5

Other:
* Cloaking 3
* Cynosural Field Theory 5 [recommended]
* Black Ops 5 [recommended]

People PvP in a Nereus too, an Industrial. That doesn't mean it is ideal for that purpose.

Well blops was made to be a suprise ship hense it can jump on its own put out serious dps and carry a ton of drone the reason it has less tank because its used to suprise kill and gtfo, using a blops for just bridging is a waste of a fun/great ship imo

Gallente Black Ops is the same one i fly, if your flying a Sin you MUST HAVE:

Adv. Weapon Upgrades 5
Drone interfacing 5
Full T2 fit ability ( Although all Black ops usually use deadspace and faction modules to lighten fits and squeeze out more tank/DPS )
T2 rigging ability
JDC 4-5
Jump fuel conservation 4-5
Extensive nav skills to reduce MWD cap costs as much as possible
good hybrid gunnery skills
Preferably T2 sentries / heavies ( i use heavies )
Covert Cyno is also a life saver if you get caught and have more Black Ops on standby
Covert Cyno alt to use for return cyno post drop ( regular cyno works but its way riskier for a 1.4b piece of hardware (avg)

I have probably 20 different sin fits if you want them mail me in game
