21 June YC 117
Nonni System

This is notification that as of 20 June YC 117 the resignation of current Chief Executive Officer Veikitamo Gesakaarin was tendered and has taken effect by 0:00, 117.6.21. Citing the need to reduce their administrative commitments to the company as part of their Executive role in conducting corporate governance so as to best focus in their duties required in corporate military deployments; training and support; in addition to having more time to spend with their family. We congratulate Veikitamo Gesakaarin for their service to the company, its employees, and shareholders as its CEO since its inception and whose contributions and leadership will continue to be felt as she remains Chairwoman of the Board.

We now welcome Hevaima Gesakaarin as the new Chief Executive Officer upon his appointment to the position by the Chairwoman Gesakaarin and the shareholders of the company. May his service to the company be as exemplary as that of his predecessor and of his duties fulfilled to the Caldari State, Caldari Navy, Kaalakiota and the Home Guard.

Signed,

Desiderya Tuulinen
COO
Pyre Falcon Defence and Security

I will try to be brief and spare the associated congratulation as I remain a man unaccustomed to the necessity of praise in the fulfillment of my duties. I am honoured to now be a part of Pyre Falcon Defence and Security and look forward to serve as its Chief Executive. As a family man, I am equally glad as I am honoured to once again work with my sister who has left me to continue the work she had begun in the creation of a company dedicated to the vision and philosophy of Mathias Sobaseki and Kaalakiota.

That all said the only other matter I believe that needs to be said in the interests of public disclosure, is that as the incoming CEO of Pyre Falcon Defence and Security the customary review of the corporate contracts, arrangements, and business associations negotiated by that of my predecessor will be undertaken in due course to secure the interests of the company and amended or changed as deemed required.

Regards,

Hevaima Gesakaarin

How soon we forget the lessons we learned.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Hm. Maybe they'll finally tire of being Imperials and come back to the State.

Does anyone else find it strange that Pyre is actually apart of the Amarr militia now?

Just...strange to me

Depends. It's strange if you assign them the "defend the State" motivation, but if their motivation and goal is simply "all the blaps, all the time" then the Imperials seem to offer the most target rich environment.

The Amarr Empire remains the allied Mutual Defence Pact partners of the Caldari State. That Pyre Falcon Defence and Security, as an independent private military corporation lead by former Caldari citizens and CONCORD registered freelancers would recognize that political reality should not be an unsurprising notion.

A translation of that would be that if you don't want to take Provist money and you don't want to fight against State forces, who else are you supposed to fly on behalf of? Seriously though, we're talking not just political but economic necessities. Being nice to everyone doesn't pay the bills.

Good riddance of that disgraceful witch.
I hope she will be shot by a firing squad someday for her treason.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

Or maybe next season Minmatar Militia will be the new black. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

As an uninvolved bystander, I can't help but wonder: how closely related are Gesakaarin and Gesakaarin? And will this transfer of leadership involve any change in policies, procedures, or associations?

Myself and Chairwoman Veikitamo Gesakaarin are siblings. Although we might often say we are twins given our identical inception dates and base chromosome profiles on a 22-to-22 level, the final differences in our obvious XY pairings on 23 would imply variations in actual end-stage meiosis between us that would not be technically true if we were in fact exact zygote duplicates.

As for the second part of your question: as aforementioned an internal review has been implemented and is being conducted regarding the policies, procedures and associations of the company at the present time and the results of which will be made available as part of a nominal public disclosure if and as when it is deemed necessary.

Last I checked, the Provist were hunted down and the renegade 'Octopus' Squadron eliminated by late April and Tibus Heth removed from power over a year ago.

Based on Pyre's activity records, it looks like Pyre began supporting the Empire's war in early April.

Granted I may be out of touch having lived in Providence for more than 2 years, but there is the opposite way to read the data concerning Pyre's change of operational area. Likely just a coincidence however.
