Well played. With so many other features added to the game, I didn't think about the implications of adding implants to kill logs as far as high sec ganks. Congratulations on the kill.

The implants for the attributes that I am currently training will be replaced (just two this year). I am unlikely to replace the other implants, as they were for a setup that I no longer use. I just haven't bothered to replace them with implants optimized for my current setup. 

The email is a nice touch. Hopefully you can harvest many tears. Of course to ensure the best possible service, you will need to post highlights on the forums. I look forward to reading them.

I will don my Great Karnak hat and predict the future....


Nobody will argue with the need to be careful and not go auto piloting with an expensive head.
After a while, we will see pods getting bombed in missions or at gates, even if not AFK/Autopilot. This will happen after the careless people learn not to go into autopilot with an expensive set.
However waiting for a mission ship to pop or going disco on a gate would still be considered worthwhile if the goal is to "destroy ISK" meaning that the destruction of the so-called Chrystal set or Virtue set is way beyond the cost of the ship loss.

This will persist for some time, and the sociopaths will blame the victim (it's your fault for not spamming warp, you noob! Marsha Marsha Marsha!!!!!1!).

CCP will notice that their sandbox has more kids taking the pale and shovel and bonking other kids over the heads with it, then pointing and laughing, and making the sandbox more about that than about sand.

Changes will reflect this. How? More security status hit for podding? Perhaps gates to high sec simply not responding to players with low status? Tougher pods? Weapons disruption zones around gates? Who knows?

And finally, the people in in this thread relishing about these current ideas will be emoraging, doing the bitter vet shuffle, claiming they are unsubbing their 100 accounts though which they singlehandedly kept CCP from being devoured by a volcano, CCP is ruining the world one MMO at a time, along with the usual trappings of neckbeardery and nerdrage.

Nothing new really.
