To: The Conference Elite, Capt Starfox, James 315, Khoda Khan,

Greetings o/

Starting Sunday (possibly monday) 2100 Eve Time, we are going to be striking the capital of the Bot-Aspirant Freighters that think they are safe autopiloting through Uedama.

This will be a very large hotspot of Activity (white knights/fanboys etc)

However I believe we can get some seriously sick kills every 15 minutes.

If you havent trained for a T2 Brutix.

Train for the T2 Brutix.

This is a mandatory CTA. If you are online you are in this fleet.

Do Not Autopilot through Uedama or the surrounding systems.

If you are piloting through this system don't be arrogant or stupid otherwise CODE will gank your freighter or orca. Interested in fighting against CODE?

Contact me in game.

Genesia 1:1.1 and the vile and wretched who make spoils unto others calling theirselves saviors from the chaos that they create will burn at the sounds of a million hand claps and the recoil of the blaster, launcher, cannon and laser from those of the Protectorate Rangers.

In time CODE will burn to nothing more than an ember of each pilots former self as each CODE member tries to remember when they were young and new in their Capsule and everything was on the horizon. They will burn in the knowledge of their knowing that they can never go back to the solstice, to their havens of freedom that they enjoyed before they became....CODE.

Or you know... don't autopilot or shut your brain off when undocked? Voila, no more losses. I guess that's too much to ask from my fellow miners and industrialists though, isn't it?

Even not on auto pilot, these people will attack freighters manually warping from gate to gate in lower 'High Security' areas.

And that's why we hire scouts whenever we move something above a certain ISK limit, or quite simply put certain trade-lanes on the avoidance list. Simple and easy measures taken that has ensured my own safety without any significant impact on the bottom line.

Avoiding these people isn't exactly some high science.
You just have to be a couple of steps ahead of the idiot that won't take any precautions.

What?!

Look, it's simple - just follow the advice given by the lovely Pilot Otsito.

Autopiloters, ignorant industrialists and CONCORD-loving sycophants deserve what's coming to them.

Um. Actually, this CODE organization has stopped caring about cargo loads. In Aufay, they've started attacking any and all freighters, regardless of cargo content. There's stopped being a financial incentive.

Which leaves the scouting and setting certain high risk systems on the avoidance list. Safeguarding yourself remains easy.

Fighting against them is pointless, they are backed so killing them means nothing. The worst thing you can do to them is avoid the systems they attack in mass like this, boredom will kill them eventually.

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.

Scout through Kubinen and go that way instead. Problem solved.

Contact you where sir?

How confusing. I guess it doesn't matter though, is a good thing I don't own any freighters or use autopilot personally.

Leaving the station at all is so exhausting.

I'll quote that for truth. Haven't left the trade hubs for anything but fueling the manufactorums with... well, fuel and materials in ages. New Eden is starting to bore me, to be honest.

Try flying out where the metal meets the meat. It's exhilarating as well as necessary.

Sure thing. My Charon or Prowler will surely make a difference out there.
Not that I haven't toyed with the thought of leaving industry behind lately.

I meant flying something small and cheap with teeth, not a small city with thrusters.

That'd require teeth. I expect a good gumming won't be quite as useful.
On the other hand, I never do anything cheap. I'll see if I can't bring something shiny to bear one day.

... well, all my jokes are cheap. Other than that I don't do anything cheap.

I'll be a 'killjoy' in this, but this is Uedama we talk about... This CODE announcement just feels like posing and riding on what outlaws & thugs have been doing for years in this system.

Any freighter pilot and other industrial mover worth his or her salt knows to either be cautious there or avoid it altogether.
Yes, freighters and assiocated get destroyed there, but I doubt CODE got much to do with it, they might have added a bit more danger to the system, but that's like saying Rancer has a new pirate gang camping the gates.

In short, nothing new, outlaws & raiders have been active in Uedama for years, CODE joining them is no suprise, only surprise is that it took them this long to join these outlaws in the system.

CODE say they don't care about the loot. But they do expend effort to recover loot if they can. My solution is to burn the wrecks when I can (see my BIO :-)). Sure Concord kills you. But they can't use that loot to reduce their costs. And I don't think their backers pockets are bottomless. So burning the wrecks hurts the bottom line. Unless they are crazy cultists (they sound like crazy cultists) in which case I'm doing this for my own amusement. ((ain't emergent game play grand)). So I encourage anyone that wants to annoy CODE and is willing to take the Sec Status hit (about .1 per go) to get out there in suitable ships (cheapo fit dessies do the job) and Scorch The Earth. It's hilarious.

How is CODE doing out there? They burning ships yet?

Why don't you just steal the loot?
