But as you said, we don't get paid for this or anything else for that matter. I'm quite confident ISD members are among the poorest capsuleers (Isk wise) in the entirety of New Eden.
So how on (insert planet of choice here) do you expect me to deposit Isk?

Yes I get the point, but I am certain Dinsdale knows the appropriate way to deal with mods practicing "biased censorship" is to file a support ticket so the mod can get reprimanded by CCP for breaking the #1 rule of CCL, so instead I went with some faux-naivete and humor, as this is already a humorous thread. Joke slain.

My absolute favorite ISD is the one who deletes all my posts. I'd really love to have this one attend a university graduation and speak on civil liberties, and freedom of speech. I'm sure the pasture would be well fertilized by evening's end.

The formulation of the rules makes them apply more to negative posting, particularly general griping / unconstructive stuff. Both positive and negative constructive feedback are welcome; negative unconstructive feedback results in little else other than upset people all around, which is bad for the forum.

Additionally, as per the "no discussion of moderation" rules, complaints/feedback on specific moderator actions need to go to CCP directly, and are not appropriate thread content. Most negative feedback posted either directly refers to a moderator action or can be easily traced to one. Both of these mean a lock. Positive feedback on specific almost never comes in the form of forum threads, and if it did it would have to be locked too.

All this stuff is in place for a reason: to encourage constructive and good content on the forums. Again, if you ever think I or one of my fellow moderators have lost sight of that, please file a support ticket so the ones in power (the CCP Community Team) can get us back on the right track.

lol I knew all that. I just was curious if there was an bit of honesty or courage around. These threads pop up at least every 3 to 4 months, yet are not locked for repeat.

That's ok. We all know places to go to have a real discussion, not a marketing skewed, ermm.. "constuctive" bent forum.
