Raven Navy Issue, total gank fit

Here's the scenario,
I rat in drone regions, I have a thanatos as primary tank and dps provider with a capital shield transfer on it. I am a couple days away from t2 cruise missiles and have never used cruise missiles before. My plan is to have a basic buffer tank on it, because the thanny will tank for it with the shield transfer on it. And then its to have a total gank fit to help rat faster.

My questions are
Should i fit it with rigor and flare rigs, or rigs that will increase the dps. The frigs will be taken care of by either medium or light drones, But the raven will be killing cruisers, battlecruisers, and then assisting the carrier with the battleships.

So, if i want it to fit a raven to help a carrier as much as possible, what rigs should i use?

You can help the ratting carrier by not gimping that 1750 dps thanny. Pvp and pve fits are different, carrier is no exception. Shield transfer = less dcu and lost dps. Sell the uninsurable missileboat for a nice abaddon or something and have fighters asisst, until you get another thanny. Fun fact: Cruise CNR with 5 bcs gets 750 dps.

The math nerds always seem to say rigors are best so I go with those (1xt2, 2x t1). Also fit a couple target painters. something like this:

I agree don't use shield transfer if you have advanced drone interfacing 5 (you can fit a nice active tank on them easily while keeping the same dps).

Also with t2 curators/gardes + paradise furies dps is around 900.

CNR has 75mbit bandwidth, that's 3 sentries. And fury cruise get 550 m exp radius, compared to 450 m of torps. It's good for POS bashing.Big smile

yes I know it is 3 sentries. Also have room for 5x light in drone bay. With 1xt2 rigor, 2x t1 rigor + perfect skills fury explosion radius = 238m (rapes everything except frigate and elite cruiser). Maybe you think hml tengu is better with its uber ~570 dps with thunderbolt furies :D

Okay here's how to run a carrier/subcap isk-making op:

Carrier >> fighters attack target.
Subcap (mach/nightmare) >> attack target

[once target reaches near 30% armor]

Carrier >> fighters attack next target.
Subcap >> finish target, start on next target.

It's not rocket surgery. The fighters already have delays in responding to commands, travelling, orbiting properly etc. - why bring in another delayed dps source? Efficiency is key. A mach with great tracking will also help kill all frigs/bc's instantly and allow your carrier to focus on BS's.

You should fit missile tracking computers in your mids or missile tracking enhancers in the lows. Oh wait! No such modules exists? I guess you must use rigs or maybe equip target painters a like it!
