Top vp gainers for their militia on 6/18/14

There was one who looks like they got a decent amount of pvp while plexing.

Average was 400 vp that is 20 plexes run. If we assume 15 minutes per plex that would be 5 hours of game time not including any travel time.

Do you all believe that people can't solo unless they have level 5 skills across the board or what?

I was 60 days old when I got my first solo kill. In a rocket kestrel. I had caldari frigate 4, terrible support and missile kills, but I still got the kill. Sure, I spent the previous 30 days losing ships left and right in solo and fleet combat, but when I got that kill I was so happy. I've been getting solo kills from that day onward. The silly and stupid misconception that pilots need level 5 skills to fight solo is wrong. That you need faction frigates to fight solo is also ********. When I first started, Odyssey was about to come out so I had to train BC5 before it came out to save 90 days of training later. I spent my 3rd month training BC5. I flew Kestrels and Condors constantly. I killed my fair share of FNC's, Firetails, and Slicers with them.

I flew Caracals and Vexors with less than level 5 skills, got plenty of solo kills + cruiser kills in those. (still had level 3 capacitor/navigation/support skills)

Hell, I'm a year old and I'm still flying minmatar frigs without level 5.


On links, drugs, and implants. For 100mil, you can get 10 implants, +3's learnign implants and +3% dmg/rof's. 100mil is not very expensive when a pod will last you months even when you're just starting out. You learn to see who has links, mark them red, and don't ever fight them again. Drugs? I still don't use them, though I should. They're also relatively cheap.


Also, kiting is pretty much the only way you can fight more than one enemy at a time. How else you think you can face down blobs? Tell them to honorbro and come one at a time? It's ridiculous to think that just because rats have changed, I can't fly the kiting ships I've been flying for the past year.

Actually I agree with your general point. I was doing allot of solo before I even had tech 2 guns.

I was flying fail fit battleships before I had tech 2 smarties!

VP/day is continuing its decreasing trend. There were something like 3 offensive plexes completed in OMS over a 24 hour period.
