The selection of agents is rather daunting, and I'm afraid I don't know enough yet to really look into it for myself, so I'm looking to save some time here. I just want to set up a place to go and make cash when I want to.

Aiming for the Drake doing 3's, maybe something bigger doing lv4's if I'm not happy with what I can do in a drake. So I'd like a set of agents that will end up letting me do lv4's in high sec, against enemies that are weak to Kin, and preferably ones that did not shoot back with EM damage or jam me.

As common as the drake is, you'd think I'd be able to google this but I'm not coming up with anything specific to a system or agent path.

You can do really any missions that you choose to do. The big difference is making sure you have the proper resists and are dealing the proper damage types(EM,THERM,EXPLO,KINETIC). The Caldari have it really nice seeing as they have different missiles that deal all the different types of damage where the other races deal usually in specified typer(Amarr-EM/Therm). They also have some of the nicest bonuses to damage resistance(usually 5% per skill level)

Choose the agents that look best for youBig smile

Edit:You would probably want Caldari space for missions(usually Gurista). BUT they do not only send you against the pirates. Sometimes you will be sent against the other pirate corps(Bloodraiders etc..) Just check what types of pirates the mission says you will go against and fit accordingly

If you check the agent finder it will tell you where their agents are for each lvl. Research and see a NPC corp that you like that operates 1-4 in Highsec and go with them. Unless you are looking for a specific LP reward

If you are in a ship with a kinetic damage bonus, you will only ever need two types of missiles:

* EM for Sansha, Blood Raiders, Rogue Drones
* Kinetic for everything else.

In contrast, the Raven is not kinetic damage bonused, but rather rate of fire (RoF) bonused, so it doesn't matter what missiles it uses for the most damage, so pick the one the NPC are weakest to.

Level 1: Kestrel (frigate or destroyer)
Level 2: Caracal (cruiser)
Level 3: Drake (battlecruiser)
Level 4: Drake (slow), Raven (battleship), Tengu (Strategic Cruiser), Nighthawk (Command Ship), Golem (Marauder)

As for agents:

* Caldari Navy gets you discounts in Jita.
* Expert Distribution gets you the Caldari Epic Arc "Penumbra", but is a horrible corp otherwise, but great for refining.
* Hyasyoda is a pretty decent general corp.
* Kaalakiota and Ishukone are decent research corps (Lai Dai is horrible).

There are so many to choose from. Once you get faction standing, you also get access to ALL OF THEM. Even the epic arc agents.

I have positive standings with lots of corps, but only 3 factions: Amarr, Caldari, Servant Sisters of EVE. I recommend the Sisters to anyone doing a lot of anti-Gallente missions (declining those missions once every 4 hours is even better).

Also, Guristas are weak to kinetic, but they will jam in some missions, so you may as well learn to deal with it.

I saw a full line of security agents under Corporate Police Force. Doing entry level kill jobs, but they're just generic enemies so far ('Environmental Terrorist') so I'm not sure what they'll have me fight up at lv3/4.and the like. Good pick?

Generally good agents are subjective.

People look for:
* Agent type (security = combat)
* Agent location (the lower the security level is, and the further from lowsec, the better).
* Availability of 5-run BPC or other loyalty point store items that sell well.
* Reprocessing facilities (some corps have offices in all 4 faction regions).
* Same corp as their friends use.

Typically level 1 to 3 agents don't matter as much as the level 4 agent.

Beyond that. It really doesn't matter.
