stiletto looks good in terms of scan resolution. if you are really only concerned about getting a FAST lock, lock time of under .5 seconds is possible (including a fitted scrambler)... whats the pod alignment time?

if you happened to know that there will be a pod soon, you could also try this (fire in right order of course)

[Thrasher, poddy]
Small 'Vehemence' I Shockwave Charge
Small YF-12a Smartbomb
6x Small 'Notos' Explosive Charge I

if noobs get GCC then it is also ok if they get podded. that is part of learning what GCC means. they behaved bad. polite noobs dont get GCC first place, only people who like to loose their sec status for nothing will attack their ship or even pod them. and again, the clone is basically free. implants? well, their corp mates better explain them GCC first....

Heh. They wanted implants on the killboards. Let's give it to them. Pod popping does make a difference. Aye for popping red ganker pods. As far as bounties. Seems you'd have to make the trip to town to fill out the paperwork. Sorry. But...if others get kill rights on criminals, in the great tradition of the POSSE, one could pass along a nice gratuity without any great game mechanics alteration.

If it's a crime, it's a crime against sovereignty. As long as universal WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE isn't alive ingame, the sovereignty doo doo is doo doo.

Stations allowing criminals entry are aiding and abetting and therefore felons. Jump gates that allow passage are facilitating flight from prosecution and are obstructing justice, also a felony.

Great graphics, CCP. How about some logic with the dynamics?

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

Thank you for your posts. :)

As far as the "how" goes, my Stiletto only missed two pods so far (out of quite a few ^^),
and that was simply because i wasn't activating the point early enough.

WTF?

That's almost worth another set of flowers.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Awesome now there is gonna be a better gank chain.

Afk hauler >> suicide Ganker >> Vigilante (suicide ganker's ganker) >> Vengeful (friend of suicide ganker, ganking his ganker)....

This can just turn EVE in an awesomenes gank fest leading to a kind of wild west feeling .

Just FYI shooting newbies is not against the rules.

Thrasher, quicklock:

7x 280mm Arty II

2x SEBO II, scan res
1 warp disruptor II

lows- whatever

1x ACR I
2x Targeting System Subcontroller I

It locks pods before the game can even display the "locking" graphic Cool

Maybe something like

Clone Grade Destroyed: Theta
Skillpoint Loss: 123456789

(actually, does sound amusing...)

it's an alpha thrasher: the pod should be dead as soon as you lock

why the hell do you have a warp disruptor on there

my ~wootinator mini~ podkillers have no need of such nonsense

protip for you silly empire folks; if your mackinaw just exploded and there's a wreck named 'wootinator' right next to it, you should probably get out as a thrasher is on the way to pod you

While I really don't think this will have the desired effect that the OP is going for free pod kills for everyone!

You're right on this one, but i'd consider using a thrasher for killing pods actually boring.

I mean ... where's the fun in that ?

I'd rather use my Stiletto, slowly kill them with two guns only,
and watch them suffer as they can't do anything except wait for the inevitable ... >:D

because a thrasher kills them before the police can catch me

the police really don't like me

Hi there.

CBA to read the whole thread, but I will say I'm in favor of this. Wartarget pod's are legal targets, so why shouldn't GCC be?
