Just a quick update. I'm over 3 out of 4 exams with the last one being the 25th of June. So for the last 3 weeks there has been minimal progress but i expect to have some free time between now and the 4th exam. After the 4th exam I will have holiday, but first I will pay my parents a visit. When I am back home again I will have a couple of weeks where I can focus on the editing and get it done.

Pretty soon the time period required for judging and editing will surpass the time period allowed for video submissions.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end result as well but I patiently waited for Amarr Carrier and JDC V to finish, I can wait for this too. (We'll not even start on my wait for Diablo 2)

You're under no real obligation to do this at all, this whole thing is a free service to the community so don't let people rush you or try to make you work on it when you have more important things to take care of.

How has my baby grown since submissions were finished, i wonder? The baby of hope and expectation born out of a desire to watch an eve pvp video that would be good and notbad.

Just FYI, it's always referred to as the 'forbidden fruit'. It never specifically says which type of fruit.

That was amazing. Loved it. And a little disappointed that the very best fight I could muster still got blown away by at least half a dozen others who themselves didn't even make the final video.

I'll just assume those other guys were linked with drugs. ;)

In all seriousness though, you should totally check your real life schedule before embarking on such an anticipated project. Kind of set yourself up for releasing the most massively disappointing video ever, simply due to the time spent hyping and then not releasing anything.

What im saying is, Uni years can be repeated. Exams have resits. Minimum wage customer service emporiums are always hiring. You only get one chance at OMC. Do you take that chance?

totally agree. Why take on a big responsibility if you can not deliver. I hope when the vid comes out, it feels, looks, sounds like it did deserve all this time and not some b.s. vid with that has been rushed.

Forgive me but i don't understand why do u have to be the one to edit the video if u don't have enough time. i know you're the founder of the project but every body already knows that and thank you for it.

i just suggest that u pass on the videos to an other good video editor such as zaqq or any one else u trust to have great editing skills. that way i think every body is going to be happy.

Have I stumbled onto GD? I'm seeing some strikingly similar, self-entitled posts that are generally reserved for the unwashed, carebear masses. I get it, some of you probably have severe ADD, or perhaps your eve lives are utterly boring, but honestly - try having some patience. Hype or no, I've no doubt this will be an interesting watch when it's completed.

Sorry everyone.

I know how you all feel. It feels like a failure to me as well. The fights however are all awesome and will be fun to watch...... I don't know what kind of editing is going on. I hope it blows your minds, but I just don't know. Wish this could have been finished before aldap had to leave.

Also to lord servent, man at this point we just don't have a finish date.... I am not sure about anything. If I were you I would go ahead and release that video you have. I know many people are waiting are gonna be blown away. I know you said you would wait for OMC to come out first...... if it comes out. So your call.

I'm sorry , but no one here should have anything to say in regards to timelines or date unvealing unless your participating in the making of the video. Don't forget , Mizhir isn't doing this for $$$ or of any value other than releasing this for fun and participation of the eve online community. It's free and done with the regards to hopefully promote more people into SOLO pvp'ing vs the large blob warfare's thats overly boring. We need more people like Mizhir to step up and promote more projects like this.

Yea I get everyone wants to see it now , so do I , But I'm not holding my breath for it. When it's released , I know I'll have something great to watch for 30 minutes or more. Maybe someone else should start another OMC , call it School Of Hard Knocks , Promote it within the community and get to work on it rather than B*TCH and Complain about OMC and it's release date.

Either way , I look forward to each individual's PvP video's that they or anyone releases , simply because I don't have the time. So thanks in advanced.
