De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

This is the best decision you made, and you should make more like it. Sounds like you took a good risk, learned a little something, and it lead to the destruction of a corporation besides.

I undocked in a Noctis with a cloak, some smartbombs, and a warp scrambler in lowsec, and within 10 minutes, I lost a Dramiel to an Iteron Mark V in highsec.

I don't really know how to explain that chain of events. I was trying to slowboat while cloaked up to a Hulk (yes Hulk) and smartbomb it for a comedy kill.

I lost my first battleship, a Megathron, to a swarm of Rifters.

This kind of thread pop up from time to time. To date, no one has beat mine for 'stupidest decsion ever'.

I had just gotten a jump freighter a week prior and one night I decided it would be a good idea to get drunk and fly some stuff (worth about a bil) to jita to sell. But I was le Tired and wanted to have a nap before firing ze missiles (true story, I had a tengu in my cargo), so i decided to autopilot the rest of the way int jita.

It seems that drinking makes you forget WAR DECs, so I awoke to my very 1st Jump freighter (to date the most expesnvie thing i've ever owned in EVE) going into structure then exploding to 3 war target cruiers on the jita undock that my AP had warped me to within 15 km of lol.

None of you can beat my stupid without claiming to have welped a super cap :) .

Not a "worst" decision by any stretch compared to some others on forum.. but decided to keep mining in a lowsec system even after narrowly dodging the same fellow who'd warped in with a couple of different ships (including a carrier which he switched out to better account for my sig). It was obvious he was after me, but I thought I'd be damned if I let that stop my op. Besides I was feeling pretty spunky with my dscan and being aligned and everything should give me no problems anyway.

So when he finally got me, I had my Hobs out blapping rats and I recalled them.. watching as they slowly came back in. And I actually waited to get them all back. I mean, I'd be damned if I lose a drone to this clown, right? Well I got scrammed and killed to hilarious effect.

Yes, they were Hob I's. Shocked

Many years ago we are doing a Level 5 Angel Extravaganza with young Serene here. We're in the bonus room. We're managing the initial aggro quite well when LO and BEHOLD the entire ROOM is (classically) on us like stink on sh*t. (Can I get an "oopsy!"?) Guess who managed to target a not-yet-hostile "other" group with a handful of drones....yessiree, little miss Can't Be Wrong here. It was some time ago, but iirc correctly I lost a pretty decent Navy Issue Harby. SHE lost a DRAKE (back when Drakes were DRAKES!) Our "tank" lost his prized Navy Issue Megathron - a ship he tanked pretty well in, too.

After the "Huh, whas?" it was determined somebody was a bit careless with the ctrl+click thing there in the overview.

I never made bad decisions, not even the one time I fitted my all new drake with a mixed meta T1 HAM And HML launcher Setup so I could rat in our new null home. Not even when I refused to stay aligned just because 3 red guys jumped into our system.

First time i scanned down a wormhole I went in there with my merlin, after switching from my heron. Needless to say I thought you could warp back to the wormhole without having to scan it again. Ended up killing myself at a sleeper site.

Good thing that happened when I didn't have anything decent...

For a string of bad decisions.

I was planning on visiting my folks for the weekend, was packing up my stuff when a notification popped up of a combat fleet going out. I was "what the hell, got an hour". Undocked (in a Hurricane, although it was the least of the weekends losses), went in to battle, and whoever was the enemy FC was targetting by alphabet. Mr A-name here got volleyed seconds after uncloak from the gate jump, and a few seconds later, podded. A little annoyed, I jump-cloned into my learning clone, and went out for the weekend.

Got back Sunday night, and as I fired my PC up, a notification came in for another fleet fight. Logged on, jumped into a Harbinger (yeah, I know, what was I thinking), and rolled out to fight. Same enemy FC maybe, who knows, but alphabet primary for the lose sees my Harbinger the first ship on our side shot, and my pod immolated shortly after.

As the swearing from another instant ship-loss subsides, I suddenly get a sinking feeling. Yep, I undocked in my learning clone, -1 full set of +5's (why did I have the Charisma? Well, I don't now). And no, no I didn't update my clone after the friday night fight either, who needs Advanced Weapon Upgrades 5 anyway Sad.

2 Battlecruisers, a full set of +5 Implants, and a 20 (was it that long?) day skill, with not even a single killmail as meagre compensation. Not the best weekend.

My worst decision:

On my way to Stain in a Stratios I saw on my map a shitload of ships getting blown up in the next system on my route. Of course instead of calling it a day and logging out on a safe, I decided "Eh, those campers won't be on my gate, I'm sure." and jumped in anyway. Of course some nice Russians then thought me the error of playing Eve while being dead tired. Lol

back at the 07 fan fest, when I went, they had a silent auction for the gaming charity,, I forget the name, and one of the things you could bid on was a life time eve sub. so I assume they do this at every fanfest, but i'm unsure. needless to say, I did not win =(
