Full Body View Update

So, how long does it take before the changes you make to the clothing of your character appear in the "Full Body View" of someone, mine show my old clothes still.

Downtime?

not downtime... I think it's up to 30 minutes

As far as I know mine still show the 'placeholder' profile I made while I was waiting for them to do character avatars properly to match the old racial differences (which they never bothered to do and we have these ambiguous crappy ones we are stuck with).

Maybe you will have to re-do it for it to show correctly? Otherwise the usual server downtime thing applies?

Mmm, racial variant clothing and body tattoos Cool

Are we allowed to say positive things about full body avatars yet? I'd pay decent isk/standing/LP etc. for this stuff.

It would be nice to have something to do with my avatar of course Big smile

I'd like to see things like the Gallente visor, or the Amarr boned collar, or the headdresses. The old crazy stuff we had that made Eve avatars instantly recognizable.

Also, are those additional pieces of clothing (already developed) going to be released?

It doesn't update! I don't know when I put the outfitt on mine shows, maybe the original. I've been through the whole NEX store and market since. I change my outfit every couple weeks, it's been atleast 2 weeks since I bought this jacket. One of my alts I checked has an outfit from 2 weeks ago not the current or original.

If you go into captains quarters, are you wearing a different outfit than in your portrait?

I can't go in Captain Quaters I only have the latest state of the art super computer. I've been talking to some friends at MIT to see if they came come with a rig that can run CQ :-)

So do you have to pay money for the larger view portraits? I'm not seeing any options when I try and change mine except for head and shoulders only.

try clicking your your portrait in the character sheet, that will open up a bigger portrait, and there you will have a button that allows you to view your character in 3D.
You can also view any character in 3D by doing "show info" on them, and do the same with their portrait.

I just looked at your 3D preview, and now I see what you mean Smile You have been wearing the jacket in your profile for a while, right?
Would you mind keeping your guy the way he is for now so we can take a look at him tomorrow and try to figure out why he's not displaying correctly?

hmmmm... are you clicking the "portrait" button right away? It takes some time to load the character.
And also... you know that you can recustomize your character in stations, right?

About half my characters are in old outfits when shown in full body view. Some from as many as 3 months ago.

hmmmm... are you clicking the "portrait" button right away? It takes some time to load the character.
And also... you know that you can recustomize your character in stations, right?


I have tried waiting and re-customizing, but to no avail.
