I think that one way CCP can keep its customer base is too provide Character Birthday Rewards.

The character with the oldest birthday would be considered the oldest regardless of skills

There would be three areas that a pilot could choose from regarding the reward.

1.Combat Missions Against NPC's - This mission would be a level three mission against a special type of NPC that is only available as a birthday reward and would consist of a number of rooms based on the characters age.

1 year - one room worth a total of 35 million isk + 85 % chance of a faction item drop worth 25 million isk
2 years - two rooms worth a total of 50 million isk + 85 % chance of a faction item drop worth 30 million isk
3 years - three rooms worth a total of 75 million isk + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 35 million isk
4 years - four rooms worth a total of 100 million isk + 85 % chance of a faction item drop worth 40 million isk
5 years - five rooms worth a total of 135 million isk + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 45 million isk

2.Mining Missions- This mission would be a level three mission where the pilot would be able to mine a single key locked room for three days that would consist of the rarer ore based upon their years played.

1 year - 5 million isk worth of All types of Hemorphite + 10 million isk worth of the lesser ores ( would be random)
2 years - 10 million isk worth of all types of Hedbergite + 15 million isk worth of the lesser ores ( would be random)
3 years - 15 million isk worth of all types of Gneiss + 15 million isk worth of the lesser ores ( would be random)
4 years - 20 million isk worth of all types of Ochre + 20 million isk worth of the lesser ores ( would be random)
5 years - 35 million isk worth of all types Mercoxit + 25 million isk worth of the lesser ores (would be random)

3.Belt Ratting and Mining Room - This mission would be a level three type of mission where the pilot would be able to mine and or rat the belts in the same room.

1 year - one room with two belts with 25 million total in NPC bounties + 25 million isk in random asteroids + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 25 million isk (ore would be random)
2 years - one room with two belts with 30 million in NPC bounties + 30 million isk in random asteroids + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 30 million isk (ore would be random)
3 years - one room with two belts with 35 million in NPC bounties + 35 million isk in random asteroids + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 35 million isk (ore would be random)
4 years - one room with two belts with 40 million in NPC bounties + 40 million isk in random asteroids + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 40 million isk ( ore would be random)
5 years - one room with two belts with 45 million in NPC bounties + 45 million isk in random asteroids + 85% chance of a faction item drop worth 45 million isk ( ore would be random)

I am completely against OP's idea. I am, however, completely in support of Bohneik Itohn's version.

CCP already do this... they just don't care about individual character's "Birthdays" so to speak; or need to reward players for long-service.

Every Christmas ("Holiday Season") and Anniversary of EVE's release; they usually give something cool out. I mean you have a bunch of Gecko Heavy Drones you've redeemed somewhere right? Well those were this years Anniversary Gift, and the gifts are always themed with something big going on; for example the Geckos are because of Valkyrie.

They actually do give quite a few away, last years was a bunch of Anniversary Collectables; that you only got a handful and had to trade for the entire Collection; that was pretty cool.

Stop basing your calendar off of some arbitrary fictional dude named Julius Caesar and start watching how long it takes for Oris to revolve around Amarr etc.

Every birthday you get an extra corpse preservation vat added to your Captain's quarters.

I say we should get SP for every second passing with a valid subscription.

That would be a proper reward for the time you spend with a valid subscription.

It was basicly a "STFU you are already getting all you are entitled to".
