CSM 9, like CSM's 7 & 8 before us will be continuing to hold regular Town Hall meetings where you the public can ask questions live to your CSM representatives.

The first Town Hall of CSM 9's term will be held on Sunday June 22nd 2014 from 19.00 UTC.

As with past Town Halls, this will be held on the EVE University Public Mumble and broadcast live by EVE Radio.

You will be able to ask questions live on the night via the in game channel "CSM Townhall", or if you are unable to attend you can post questions in this thread and we will ensure our moderator on the day asks them of us.

We look forward to seeing many people attend this Town Hall.

and so it continues... Cool

- How does the CSM look at the stories that are created by the capsuleers in New Eden with artistic integrity (no compromise of the pilot or his work for real life profit) versus CCP's view that the stories that are created in New Eden can not necessarily just be re-told straight (Dark Horse for example)

- Are the stories that are created everyday and in specific B-R5RB or Asakai the intellectual property of CCP and allowed to be altered/tweaked in the narrative to suit the needs of the company to reach a large potential customerbase ?

- Should Live Events, or another form of CCP ingame involvement, be used to create awareness to that large potential customerbase, for example "the slaughter of the lambs" during the Ghost Site live event in November 2013.

Eve online is :

A) mining simulator B) glorified chatroom C) spreadsheets online

1. CSM8 sometimes disagreed internally about feedback that should be given to CCP about a given feature and instead of trying to show a single face, would often give CCP all of the varying opinions of that feature and let CCP decide. Is CSM9 operating the same way? I'm particularly curious about differing public CSM9 member reactions to the freighter/JF rebalance for Kronos and the jump fuel nerf for Crius.

2. For the new CSM members, what's been your biggest surprise about being on the CSM so far?

aka Jester, who apparently was once Deemed Worthy To Wield The Banhammer to good effect.

I'd really like to know whether the latest organisational changes within CCP will be helping or hindering the 3rd party tool development in the short and medium term in terms of CREST.

I'd also like your comments related to the development of EVE Gate as a more expanded out-of-client 'command center' as was originally communicated by CCP themselves back in (I want to say) Fanfest 2011. With EVE Gate clearly incomplete and non-functional as-is for corp and alliance leaders, for example, it would be great to get a follow up on the status and roadmap of the development of it, if possible.

Lastly, expanding on the re-organisation of CCP, it would be great to get an idea of how things are being re-organised and whether or not that will/is further increasing the integration of CSM and CCP's co-operation.

Why can't we have an off option for tooltips? Why are CCP so against such a simple option and why hasn't the CSM been more active in supporting the player base on this?

Unfortunately, I probably will not be able to attend, so can the following question be asked:

“Why on earth did you not stop the Tooltip disaster getting anywhere near Tranquility until it was in a fit state to do so ?”

I often travel for work and play with members of the military. With real life issues would the CSM look in to out of game/ eve-gate que managment? Or at least open it for 3 party devs to look in to?

Yes +1 for tooltips. We want a disable tooltip button

The DEV team do not listen us after 58 pages about this issue. - people don't want slider, they want on/off button!

I am US TZ so 1900 is probably going to be a little early for me. I am just going to post this question here:

Lowsec used to suck. Over the past few years lowsec has recieved a FW rework, Tags for sec rats appearing in their belts, Mordu's rats, more WHs spawning, Besieged Covert Research Facility was added to lowsec and in the only way to get the new low-grade implants, and today it was announced in a Dev blog that they are getting the Thukker Component Assembly Array to help prevent the loss of their cap producers when the refining changes are made.

In other words, one could convincingly argue that lowsec doesn't suck any longer. There is still some work to do, but there are lots of things that make lowsec unique. Which I agree is good for Eve as a whole and applaud CCP for their work in this area.

My issue is that NPC nullsec is stuck in a pretty terrible position. I think the best description I have heard is "NPC nullsec is the old useless lowsec with bubbles and bombs". NPC nullsec gets none of the benefits of being SOV nullsec and is being outdone with all the buffs lowsec has recently seen. Particularly the areas of Syndicate, Outer Ring, and Great Wildlands which don't get pirate missions/LP stores or officer rats.

So my questions are: is this something the CSM considers a problem? If so, are you going to ask CCP to do something about it? If you are, what would you like to see happen?

wrong, most of us want the old ones back, not just an "on/off", as some of the tooltips are actually useful.

(yes, we both are assuming we know what others want, based on our view of the responses in that threadnaught)

Q: Is this being looked into at all\discussed with the CSM-CCP: Tooltips going to be separated out so that the Neocom Tooltips have a separate delay to say Capacitor\Overheat and again separate to the Overview Tooltips?

Q: Is this being looked into at all\discussed with the CSM-CCP: Change the icons of Covert Ops Cyno, Cyno and Command Processors to be unique. I personally think that nothing should share the same icon unless it has the same purpose i.e. AB's, MWD's, WCS etc.

Q: Is it being discussed internally within the CSM about not implementing things without a "tone down\turn off" option? I like the Tooltips but I either have to have them in my face with short delay on everything to see my wallet amount without waiting 30 seconds or all at 30 seconds delay which affects how quickly I can see my Cap amount, OH stats etc. I don't want to turn them off but the option would be nice for those that do. More often than not CCP try to force us to use things before giving us the option to "tone down" or turn it off. CQ for instance, Tooltips is another one.

If that's not the sort of thing you were after then I'm sorry.

Yes, good. I have many important questions for you, such as:

1. Now that you've made CSM, will you remove your CSM 9 ad from your sig?
2. When are you coming to sing for us?
3. When are we getting WH stabs?

Yeah, well, it's just like my opinion, man.
