Hello;
I am new to FW bit not new to eve.
I am currently trying out solo plexing but I am having difficulties finding a decent ship/fit.
I am looking for suggestions withing the following parameters:
-t1/2 caldari or galente frigates
-t1/2 caldari cruisers
-t2 galente cruisers
-not interested in small or novice plexes
Thanks.

From your post it seems you want to 'farm' LP ('solo plexing', 'not interested in small or novice plexes').

If that is the case, sorry I can't help you. Nothing personal, but I hate farmers.

If you want to solo PVP, all faction frigs work well (for example: ab rail comet, dual web rocket hookbill, dual web arty firetail, kitey scorch slicer).

Make space glamorous! Is EVE dying or not? Ask the EVE-O Death-o-meter!

That leaves mediums and larges as your only options then.

Defensive plexing you can do in a t1 frig without a single module fit.

My guess is you are talking about offensive plexing, however. Offensive plexing now requires above average dps to destroy the pesky faction npcs in them and to do so in a timely manner as they have really irritating respawn timers and seem to sometimes respawn right after you just spent a minute killing them (if your dps isn't superb).

-t1 caldari frigates for medium/large o plexing = don't even try
-t1 gallente frigates I wouldn't bother either as I imagine an incursus fit for maximum damage potential could solo a medium npc, albeit incredibly slowly, but the respawn would make you want to pull your eyes out of their sockets. Again, I wouldn't bother.
-t2 cal/gal frigates... Enyo with a pure damage fit would probably be your best choice as it can reach like 400+ dps.
-t1/2 cal/gal cruisers... Vexor for the mediums, but probably blaster Thorax for both - again dps.
-t2 gal cruiser either of them depending on which you have better skills though the Ishtar is less likely to get hero tackled by 500k isk hulls with a long point long enough for a gal fleet to come flying in to end your happy day.

The main issue with the plexes right now is the dps required for the npcs, while they completely discourage stab fits, is significant enough that it often will dictate the use of a brawler fit that then has to move away from the warp in point of the plex beacon leaving it vulnerable to any kiters looking for an easy kill. Kiters without superb dps are relegated to hunting down these brawlers instead of offensive plexing themselves as it takes obnoxiously longer for them to deal with the npcs (again assuming they aren't perfect or near perfect sp'd characters for the damage they are doing). Some fits that are designed to dp lower dps, but have a longer or higher tank to effectively bleed an opponent to death are less viable for offensive plexing now as well.

TL;DR for mediums larges you will need a high dps cruiser or t2 AF like an Enyo. Be aware people will know if you are offensive plexing what kind of fit you probably have because of the npc changes and be ready to get jumped by kiters.
Oh, and high sp catalyst would work too if you can use one with high hybrid/gunnery skills and dessie 5

This... Signed. While trying to get rid of cloakers our devs ruined solo PvP. The argument that the damage of the NCP is small is not true in solo. Being in a constant state of half in your shields is a real disadvantage in frigate solo PvP.

I Really hope CCP will fix this

It used to be a week old char could hop into FW and make good isk and get good fights.

THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE.

1. The NPC rats spawn so fast you will have more PVE than a mission runner by the time you get a fight or the timer runs out.

2. No more fun fits. Cruicifiers, Maulas, every other "fun" t1 frig can no longer reliably solo novice plexes because they cant handle the onslaught of respawns, and dont have enough DPS for the newly buffed active tank the rats have.

3. YOU WILL NEED TONS OF AMMO. Maybe a dedicated hauler for ammo now to plex. Thats how much ammo you will need to kill all the NPC's you will face in this hardcore pvp environment.

FW is more PvE than PvP currently.

CCP has found a magical way to turn their 1 dedicated pvp mechanic into PvE.

And you'd burn out all your modules before the rat was half dead as a lower sp'd pilot :P

As a new character I find it slow now to kill the npc in a novice plex with my LM condor.

Rocket one no problem.

And to be honest I'm ok with this. A few day old toon should NOT be able to solo anything over a novice in a basic fit frig. Simple.

FW is a melding pot of pve that drives pvp. Just look at the stats for the maximum number of kills etc the vast majority of those people are FW'ers.

I'm just getting back to FW now with this new character and I like it. Lol

After coming back from a hiatus to the new plex changes, I have found them pretty disappointing. I understand wanting to stop stabbed farming, but having the NPCs respawn every 90-180 seconds seems a little over the top.
