Hi Everyone,

I was playing around with EFT today and wanted to see what people though of this setup .. It's based off one I use for my Typhoon for doing missions .. but though this would work out better as it gives me more tank and more damage ..

Given that this ship is quite the monster for PvP, it may not be the best option for a PvE boat, other than being a really expensive piece of bling for your personal enjoyment. However, it is not a passive tanker, it's almost as shapeless as a drake, that doesn't make it an oversized drake. Perhaps this will be a little more appropriate than the setup you posted.

The point range bonus is entirely wasted. Just use a CNR or Golem or Rattlesnake. Any of them will do missions faster.

Any PVE fit Barghest is a fail fit... The ship is bonused specifically to PVP

I run missions and would love to fly a Barghest because it's an awesome looking ship but it would be the equivalent of using a Bhaalgorn for missions...

As to the fit, you should look at an active tank, you will get better dps.
When I tested it on the test server I fit it and used it like I use my macharial, ie cap stable with a 100mn ab and xl sb for tank, need to pulse it. This way you can get 4 x BCS to get better dps. Mids I had x-l sb, think kit was dread xl, SB amp, em ward, 100mn ab (this is your tank, keep moving), tp and an invuln.. something like that anyway.
FYI.. a bhalg can run lvl4's.. as can a hawk.. its hard not being a sheep... but it is fun

I do think you don't understand the purpose of the gank.. in most cases its for the drop of the faction mods.. none on this.

... What next ??

Yes you can run L4 missions in a AF, Bhaalgorn, and probably an Orca. For practical purposes it doesn't make sense but by all means if you're bored with doing things the usual way go for it. I'm not about busting someones fun bubble but if something is not going to work well I'm going to say so.

You are correct that in most cases it's for the gank... But sometimes it's for a good cause like someone AFK mining or just out of boredom... I would join a suicide gank fleet in a heartbeat for someone running missions in this.

It'll perform similar to a standard Raven so it should be able to complete any level 4 mission.
