Hi,
I'm looking for a corporation and thought a post here in addition to my forum searching might bear some fruit. I'm not JUST being lazy by getting people to pitch to me and I am actively looking at recruitment posts for a good fit.

A little bit about me and my history in EVE:

Like a lot of people I've read posts from I am returning to EVE after a break. For me thats about a year, might be a little bit more. What this basically means for me is that whilst I've got a reasonable amount of skill points (around 45 mill) I am for most purposes a noob again.

I originally started playing back in 2003 and joined a corporation with friends and that first month in EVE was one of the best I've had in the game. Part of that was undoubtably because everything was new but it was primarily because we had goals and I remember that sense of achievement when I mined, with assistance from my friends, the ores for and then built my very first battleship and then went on to help those same friends get the materials together to build their own.

I stuck with that initial corp for quite a while, I'm not ingame to check at the moment but it was over a year and im sure was closer to 2, during which we made the transition from a high sec corp, like pretty much everyone was at the time, to a member of one of the first iterations of the Curse alliance.

Eventually I left EVE for real life (it exists, honest!) and over the years I've returned on a few occasions to check out new content or to restart playing but havnt always found the right fit in terms of a corporation I can really care about or something has happened and pulled me away from the game.


So basically I'm back and looking for the right corporation :)

What im looking for:
1. A corporation with a high sec base of operations (access to low or 0.0 operations is a bonus but I want the option of sitting in a hassle free, low danger environment and nuking some roids when the mood takes me and not be sat there on my own).
2. Regular mining ops. Both for corporation and personal gain (I'm happy to help run some)
3. A corporation with a realistic vision for the short and long term.
4. Potential for advancement within the corporation. I dont expect to turn up and become a director or officer on day 1 but I'd like it to be a realistic prospect for the future. I've been an industrial and mining director before and was good at what I did.
5. Industrially minded corporation - I dont want to join a corp who's sole focus is PVP. I'm happy to join a corp that does PVP and I'm happy to help with building ships/components/ammo etc to support that but I'm no PVP god and though I'll do it if I need to its not what I most enjoy.
6. Experience. I've been out of the game long enough that I'm having to relearn how to play so having people around that can answer my list of questions would be a great help.
7. No corporations with active war decs or an expectation to have a war dec in the imminent future. I want to be able to move my assets so that I can support the corporation and my gameplay as best I can.
8. A hassle free, real life comes first attitude.

Whats possibly most important for me is that i join a corporation whose members work for the common good of both the corporation and its membership aswell as their enjoyment. I'll make up some personal goals as I go along but I'd like the corporation to have some of its own that I can help achieve.

I live in the UK so activity in EU timezones are a must.

I'm self sufficient so I dont need or expect hand outs.

I'm sure I've made this clear but just to reiterate I'm an Industrial focused character (with the skills to back that up). Saying that, I do have plenty of combat skills also and I'd be happy to get involved in some PVE activities (PVP not being that high an interest). I fly and own a variety of combat ships, I mine in a Hulk and dabble in covert ops.
