It's your topic, but you could just cave in and rename it to a sloth thread, then report anyone for not talking about sloths. Allowing topics to take their own meandering course of doom.

I'd rather we did that ourselves. If you look at this thread, I'm pretty sure its a "INBLock" by now. Which was to be expected with this one and I enjoyed reading the responses. But in general... I'd really rather see less locks. By doing moderation of our own, the official moderators can spend more time cleaning threads instead of being forced to simply lock it down.

This is not only discussing moderation, it's also a bit insulting to CCL to claim that threads get locked most of the time when the goodposts outnumber the badposts 10 to 1.
