=) the turnout has me really pumped for this, but, on to the task at hand- Other than claud, who has already expressed his idea, does anyone have an idea for how winner should be determined? this is the biggest roadblock to this contest starting. I wanted to do a poll but I dont know of a way to safely do a poll that discourages cheating. Claud suggested judges, but I don't don't know if a team of judges will represent the feelings of the community as a whole. thoughts?

I have an idea for a whole T1 ship line for Khanid, based on Caldari design and re-imagined with Amarr engineering. Short range missiles and long range lasers, cap warfare range and ECM strength. Now if I find my crayons, I might be able to draw a ship or some.

If coding up a website is too much hassle, you could just specify everyone uses a common file uploading site. Then copy them across into a master album perhaps?

For voting you could get prelim votes by having people either click like on the ones they like in the forum thread, or post an order of preference. Then use judges for a later round.

You might get a handful of serious ones, but you'll also get a lot of comedy attempts - maybe it's worth having a prize for those. Dibs on a felt tip submission, Abrazzar can have crayons. Good luck with this. If you are willing to have someone like Chribba hold the prize fund I'll contribute.

Well, in short either it would provide bonuses to the POS systems, or benefit from being near a POS to have (for example) a Cap fountain, or as I was more thinking a single weapon slot fitting a single gun of a larger class than normally allowed.

I am seriously debating making a webpage just for this, but I would have to learn how to link to the eve online API which kinda scares me because I've never done anything that complicated What? But if i can figure it out, that might end up being the best Idea- especially because if this works out I want to do things like this more often. It's great for the community =) Also, I already am going to have chribba hold the prizes. He has agreed to that much. I'm trying to get his "endorsement" for it though, which as you might imagine isn't easy to just DO since I'm not exactly famous lol. But he will be holding the prizes.

but really though, I LOVE anything khanid inspired. Khanid space is where I have my roots, the first player corp I joined was based in khanid space. Lets see some designs =D

now THIS really intrigues me. I have never heard an idea like this one before but already I can see the possibilities. Maybe near a POS it can go into something like a siege mode where its range and damage are increased, as is its cap regen. If you want to make it REALLY interesting, make it only able to enter this mode if the POS is in reinforced mode. I like it. run with it- I want to see where it goes =)

I was actually just debating that. If he's a judge and holds the prizes, then, that's close enough to "endorsement" to satisfy most people.

of course, then I would also need like, ten more judges. I'm not going with just one or three, and it has to be an odd number

Hello everyone! I have made a ship! http://imgur.com/p4XYKvU It is called the Dolphinator. This ship is a covert ops cruiser.
It can fit the Dolphin cloaking device Using the DCD (Dolphin cloaking device) makes it start flapping like a real dolphin and makes the signature radius 1000xsmaller so it will take 100 seconds for a shuttle to lock on to it. Meanwhile it can fire Dolphin torpedos the Dolphin torpedo can be seen here http://imgur.com/Zlz88co
These torpedos are are extremly fast but do little damage. These are fired once every 1/10th of a second and the Awasome dolphin launcher fires them. One launcher can store 100 dolphins.

10% faster reload time
5% more awasome
Amarr cruiser (Per skill Level)

+1 Low slot
+10 cpu
+1 Med slot
Caldari cruiser (per skill level)

+1 High slot
+50 Powergrid
Gallente cruiser (per skill level)

+1 Rig slot

Can fit Awasome dolphin launcher, Dolphin cloaking device.
