Hey everyone, I've been planning to switch to linux for a long time and now I am finally doing this. My main concern right now is whether I can carry all my settings(mainly overview) from windows over to linux or not. I will use linux mint and run EVE through Wine.

You should be able to carry everything over to your new installation. There's a a directory that contains all the settings, window positions, overview configuration and what have you. Not entirely sure where it's supposed to be in Windows, probably somewhere in %APPDATA% or thereabouts.

For me on Linux it's under [wineprefix]/drive_c/users/[username]/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/[path to eve]/

You may have to launch Eve and login once for the directory to be created.

Just copy the contents to the new location and you're golden.

Ok, thank you! I know where the setting are on windows, I just was not sure where they would be and in what format when using Wine.
