Hello

i want to start playing this game in a completely new way to re ignite my interest as im sick of missions and exploration.

My questions are below

1. If i place a buy order in Jita and use the corp wallet do i need an office in Jita as where will the items i purchase go when they are bought if they are company property.

2. If they only appear in the hangars does this mean that i cannot have a wide area buy order unless i have an office in that system.

3. I am going to divide up the corp wallet into different areas, such as a trading budget. building budget and invention budget and a few more if i can think of them. To keep each one seperate i will buy minerals from the trading budget to use in the building budget. Do i have to do this manually i can i set up corp contracts between divisions.

Im going to do this so i can have a piece of every pie and keep them independent. im sick of raising isk the old fashion way and im hoping that i can get it to the stage where it will sustain me in my efforts to grief other players (ie wardecs and scanning people out in lowsec etc)

Thanks for your invaluable help

1. No, you can buy with the corp wallet in any station. The bought items will appear in the "Deliveries" hangar.
2. See #1.
3. Not sure what you're asking here. Wallet divisions are kept separate, and there are different corp hangar tabs you can use to keep minerals/stuff separate between divisions. You must manually switch between corp wallet divisions, and must move stuff between corp hangar tabs.

Thanks for the help.

What i meant with the 3rd question was can wallet division 2 put up a corp buy order that is filled by wallet division 3 and the isk is automatically transferred or are buy orders just general and not that specific.

Thanks again

Sorry, yes, you can do this. You'll have to make sure you're in the correct corp wallet division when accepting the contract, and some might argue that it'd be easier to just transfer the isk manually. But if you're going for clear history of transactions between divisions then yes, this would be a good way of doing it.

Edit: I was thinking about contracts when I wrote the above. If you're talking about regular market buy orders, then yes you can do that, but you'll incur market fees which you would avoid had you just moved the isk manually.

I don't think you can set up corp contracts between divisions (at least easily anyway).

The process that I normally use is similar:

1. Mineral Basket
2. Industry

I buy the minerals from the market using the "Mineral Basket" account, and then re-sell them to the "Industry" account at the same price (OK, so I just move ISK).

For example, let's say I have a 100m ISK in Minerals (trit, pyer, whatever), 10m ISK in the mineral wallet, and 12 milion ISK in the industry wallet. We'll build shuttles, and for the sake of this example, say they're worth 10k apiece in mineral value.

1. Transfer 1m ISK to Mineral wallet, transfer the necessary trit to industry
2. Start building shuttles
3. Set a buy order for trit using the Mineral wallet.
4. put up sell orders on the market, using the INDUSTRY wallet. say for 15k apiece

things will look like this (until the buy/sell orders complete):

Mineral wallet -- 10m ISK
Mineral Stockpile -- missing 1m ISK worth of trit, until the buy order fills
Industry Wallet -- 11m ISK, until the 1.5m worth of sell orders fill

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
