What happened to Cobalt?

Recently Cobalt spiked from 1200 to 3100 per unit, I know there is some disruption in Catch and Khanid, any other reason for the spikes.

Most cobalt is found in the south and south east. All of that territory has recently been conquered, with the exception of Period Basis, Delve, and Querious.

Also, Platinum Technite Alchemy isn't worth the POS fuel anymore. So, tl;dr: idk.
