I like it. What do you think?

Throw some of humanities finest armaments on it and we got ourselves a future I feel comfortable living in. P

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

Just Starfleet's newest Constellation class ship then?

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

Oh absolutely, and navigational hazards, of course. Blink

Well in the concept design the ship is named the Enterprise (I know the original was Constitution class...unless you count the NX class) lol
Oh and the ship uses rings similar to the Stratios

He should of changed his name to Zephran Cochran ;)

But seriously, this is freaking awesome. One of my two goals was to live till the year 2100 (i'll be 119, so that is very possible) and or to see the first manned warp flight. Maybe I will get both my wishes lol

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

According to Cal Tech Physicist Sean Carroll -

In short, it requires negative energy densities, which can't be strictly disproven but are probably unrealistic; the total amount of energy is likely to be equivalent to the mass-energy of an astrophysical body; and the gravitational fields produced would likely rip any ship to shreds. My personal estimate of the likelihood we will ever be able to build a "warp drive" is much less than 1%. And the chances it will happen in the next hundred years I would put at less than 0.01%.
