Several months ago I posted the above thread with my rendition of Baz Luhrmann's "Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen" several people had requested the adaptation be made into reality. I have since sold my original character but I finally took a shot at creating the video. I present to you "Everybody's Free to Join a Corporation"

When I clicked on the link, I was frowning. You see, this is a song I send people to when they reveal themselves to be more than a mindless drone. It's uplifting to most, but inspiring to few.

The fact you nailed it's spirit, while invoking EVE names you the latter, OP.

I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe...  Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like  tears... in... rain. Time... to die...

Ummm... mixing some music behind the reading of text does not a song make.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

You did a great job on this, subbing in eve related content but keeping it as true to the original. Big smile

I know this is no fault of your own, but I only wish your voice were as powerful as the original. Now I have to go back and listen to it.

I know me too! I kept thing there is no way my voice will do this justice. I think that's why no one stepped up to the plate originally. Big shoes to fill...

Actually I went back and listened to the original, you were not far off, I just remembered it being more powerful in my mind. The difference is mostly in the sound engineering so shame on you for not having $20,000 soundboard equipment and a professional mixer. X

Excellent! I do disagree with that lossmail thing though. I will always treasure my lossmail to the Guristas Beacon. It was a Venture that I lost and the mixture of surprise and amusement still makes me think about that time with a grin. Big smile

(Edit: I might have misheard what you did say there, but I will let the comment stay - the honour of the Guristas Beacons demands it!)
