A message from Mordu's Legion Command

Commander Aina,

Good luck in your operations. Unlike the childish antics of those above who think being told not to do something is incentive to go ahead and do it, some of us at least will respect your wishes and not interfere.

Commander Aina,

Of all the forces, I would think Mordu's Legion would be wiser in handling the Capsuleers. You encounter and deal with them on a daily basis in Intaki and Caldari prime.

By that hands-on experience I would think Mordu's Legion is aware on what drives most capsuleers: greed, and in this case, that everything has a price.Telling them in a public announcement not to interfere after they helped you gather all the itneldata and hand it over is quite rude in the capsuleer community.
Many gave you that researchdata without attempting to hack or check what the data is about (I'm sure there were some who did, but far from all)
Now you tell m *Thanks for the goodies, now get off!* Rest assured the capsuleers will come and claim their prize, at your own cost. I'm afraid the error of disrespecting capsuleers will be a very costly one. One that would have been no issue if you had been more open and rewarded them to assist you.

Indeed, but at least he had the manpower to back it up, and honestly, he's still going at it, so can't speak of victory (or defeat) yet, it's an impasse.

Unlike some, I value my relatively high standings with the Legion. I'll accede to your wishes.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Yes. Us getting stupidly filthy rich with next to no risk of anything but a minor ISK loss every once in a while is an impasse. The twits don't even pop the pod if memory serves. Thousands upon thousands of his ships, starbases and other invasion infrastructure are destroyed regularly with zero capsuleer deaths to his name.

Eggers won and keep winning, approximately 31.5 million ISK at a time. That's not even counting the credit CONCORD extends for pretty much every specialty piece of tech, ship and implants an egger could ever want.

Prime Node. Ask me about augmentation.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that potential three-way engagements can often be the most fun.

"Dear capsuleers: Thanks for the help. Now, screw off. Don't come over here, where we are, or we'll be forced to attack you with ships chock-full of loot and salvage. You wouldn't want that, driving that much more capable and nasty ship you have. Oh, and definitely don't go poking around our giant box of goodies afterwards, which we spent a few weeks paying you a royal mint to track down. You seriously don't want anything to do with the latest technology in the cluster or the potential to resell it for vast amounts of money."

Geez. The Blood Raider Covenant has a better PR machine than that.

Outposts as they were, they will remain.
What some peoples didn't understand, is that Cmdr. Aina stated, that their ships will attack you, if you enter these facilities.
Just for some of so-called "good pilots", won't start crying, why suddenly "good" Mordu ships attacked them.

You have been warned.
There is no reason to make drama out of it.

Because this has been tried before, and it hasn't worked any of the times its been tried.

Hmmm, i think the Legion is being sneaky here folks, they know the majority of capsuleers will do the exact opposite of what they say.. so here they are making their actions public.. with brand new ships that they have not yet acquired sufficient combat test data with in regards to combating capsulerrs.. think about it.

This makes too much sense to be true.

everyone knows if it makes too much sense to be true, it's probably not.

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

But are altercations with Legion assets recorded as a matter of standing in the neocomm? It seems that some entities do not seem to value loyalty or betrayal beyond the registered agents they have in the system.

As an opponent of market stagnation and hoarding of technology, lest the mistakes of the past be made anew by assuming that one authority is the final authority over cluster-impacting technology, I support the seizure of these sites and assets by capsuleers. The capsuleer community, due to its anarchistic and fractious nature, is the best possible medium for the reallocation of new technologies in a manner that might approach an even distribution.

Those that value their standings in a manner beyond simple access to better paper pushers in 5zxx are of course at liberty to exercise their restraint. However, I must point out that the meaning of standings begins and ends there, outside of the minority issues of broker's fees, jump cloning access and refinery tax.

If confronting the Mordus at these besieged facilities doesn't impact standing, why not have the best of both worlds? Even if it does, the probability of making good money or use out of what is found there is significantly higher than doing the same in the conflict burdened Pure Blind region at the behest of agents.

Obligatory,

down with this sort of thing.P

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.
