Is there a software that would allow me to see how long it would take me to train a new toon for a certain purpose. I would like to train a new toon but i have not yet created it. so would like to know in advance how long it would take.

Well if you have iOS device there is Neocom. Otherwise install Windows in a VM with Virtual Box or something I guess.

Unfortunately Macs "just don't work" for many things.

You can run EVEmon on a Mac using Crossover:
