After patching, launching the client pops up a message: "A new version of EVE Online is available, please update with the EVE launcher."

Restarting the launcher simply displays "Client is ready."

Will probably be a while before SISI is open due to database changes, then the launcher should tie up with the current version correctly

It'd be abusing CSM privilege to ask ccp not to open SiSi till I get home, wouldn't it. Drat. Sad

So anyone able to get on now? It says SISI is OK and over 100 people are on but I still can't get on. So what gives?

OK what on earth is going on then? I'm getting the following error when I try and connect. But I can connect to TQ just fine. I've never had this problem before!
"Connection Failed : Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

EDIT: NVM for some bizarre reason, ESET isn't popping up any notifcations for the test server folder like it should. So I can add it to the rules. It did the first time, but for some reason it's still blocking SISI's exe. It's allowing TQ's traffic just fine tho. So I have to manually create a rule for SISI.

May have found a workaround for the update available problem (until ccp can fix it probably next patch) launch the exefile.exe with /server:singlarity while your network cable is unplugged. after the client has launched plug the cable back in and it log in. Unfortunately i can't 100% confirm this yet because my account is deactivated on sisi right now. Hope this helps everyone.
