Booster manufacturer and smugler seeking for advice

I'm not a booster manufacturer, yet. I've been reading tons of guides and I think I got the basis. I'm in a one man corporation with 2 accounts. I though it may be a good idea to start with a POS in lowsec to start with the booster production. By no means I'll be able to defend the POS by myself. And there's this situation of carrying the boosters back to Jita. Never tried it.

But it sounds fun and I have some ISK to start with this project, so why not? That's why I came here for advices from more experienced smugglers and booster dealers. Is it viable or would I need some kind of protection or am I missing something?

Thanks! Pirate

Why not try just smuggling into Jita for starters? I'm sure you could find a lowsec-based supplier, buy from them, haul it to Jita, and sell for a nice markup? That way you could get used to smuggling in without fronting the fees for a POS at the start.

I make it a point to not help competition. Most of my peers agree.

But by all means, set up a pos network and get to production... Twisted

Naw, you can ninja-process just fine. Find a backwater lowsec system, throw up a POS and as many biochemical reactor lines as you can on it, take it down when you're done. Much easier thanks to those wonderful starbase setup changes. I've never bothered hauling to Jita though, so I couldn't tell you much there.

Don't sell your boosters in Jita. Find customers.
