No. I'd prefer if it worked rather than came early. And iirc, they started shouting about it being moved during, or very closely to, FF2014, so it's hardly a new and shocking development.

Why would it justify an email? That seems like a rather high sense of entitlement.

CCP published a specific devblg and addressed it in forum posts. If your interested in industry and an active member of the community, there has been a lot of information available to be kept informed.

However if you are not interested in industry or aren't all that active in the community, then an email is little more than spam that would also need to be carried across other issues too, leading to more emails that might or might not be relevant.

If you're concerned about receiving an email, sign up for the newsletter. It normally contains information on key devblogs.

I am actually even more dissapointed the information about the withdrawal of industry was so non-existant Evil. This information should at least have been pushed with the same vigour as the information about the industry changes initially...

I agree, if only they posted a dev blog about it, like when they announced the industry changes. Roll

This is the whole point of the new release cycle. They saw that they needed more feedback, testing, and time to address issues before they put this massive change into effect. This is the new direction of CCP, and it seems to be going ok.

The old way, they would just rammed it in, and went 'ya we will fix it later... OOOOH SHINEY!!!!"

I guess the original poster that actually resubbed because of the feature promised by ccp, just have to pay for a month without getting what he wanted to pay for! I would certanly understand it if he wanted his money back. You just don't do that to Your coustomers. There should have been more information for this poor victim of Pshhhhhhh..

Now call me crazy, but if I am coming back because of a feature that I wanted to try out. I would wait till it went live before I resubbed.

Yeah its disappointing that it got pushed back, a bigger disappointment is that they did not convert all T2 BPOs to BPCs.

It was easy to find the info, It was posted 20 days before the release. If the OP signed up before that, then he was planning on subbing for more then a single month anyway. If the OP subbed after that, then its his own fault for not reading the dev blogs. You can't blame CCP when they give you almost a months warning, and ya miss it. Its not like they put it in some obscure subforum as just a normal post.

After reading the Devblog about why the change was pushed back to Crius, I guess most of us are happy to give CCP some slack to make sure it is right.

Perhaps...but I think the size of this fall-off well justified an e-mail to all subscribers. I mean Kronos was gonna be "the industry patch" right...

Announced in plenty of time via devblog.

Devblogs linked in right on the launcher.

I fail to see the problem.

After internal testing and verification, it was determined that the industry changes needed a tad more pssssshhhh before release.

Oh nay nay! CCP doesn't get off that easily! Spam is not good enough! I DEMAND a CCP employee personally comes to the residence of every subscriber and begs for forgiveness. Better get going on that CCP.

Disappointed ? Not really.

This gives CCP time to redress the issue of Standings (positive or negative) as a variable in the costs calculations.

Hopefully.
