Issues, Workarounds & Localization

First and biggest Problem for me is, same as last patch time, i had to login on my PC with Administrator.
So basically i am not working ever with Administrator on my WIN7 PC, so this is forcing me to read a book or whatever, because i cant do anything else while downloading this GB of data which takes quite some hours.

While it was trying to patch in the first run, there was one file missing so the whole patch stopped shortly after it started.
Next step was starting the repair tool and downloading again everything, due to my slow ip connection this again cost me several hours while not being able to use my pc.

Luckily everything went good and installation of the crucible client works fine now
JUST i lost all my settings. Remaking this on my 5 accounts again did cost me some time.
Of course i am happy to playe eve again but:

How can i avoid this issues ?
I dont want to login as adminstrator, my normal login has administrator right, so it should work, is it my problem, did i something wrong ?

How can i avoid loosing my settings, i have several backups of my eve client, but i dont want to repatch them, so is there a way so save settings only ?

Please fix the patching so i dont have to login with admin account, because i wouldnt care much if it takes longe as long as i can do somethint else on my computer.
