Hey Capsulers

we from EACS - Estel Arador Corp Services, EvE´s leading *FREE* jumpclone service, looking for an alliance name (and ticker) for the alliance we want to create in the near future.

For this we need your help and ask for your serious suggestions.

Here some guidelines and "rules" for the name we´re looking for

  • Not too long and not too short; means we think that a name with at least 2 - 4 words should fit at best
  • No Leetspeak
  • Name should contain a relation to EACS and/or jumpclones
  • No funny or kidding things ... we´re adult


    • Arrow This event will last until sunday 8th June 2014

    Arrow The winner which name we take will receive a throphy of 1b ISK and a exclusive decoration, so he/she will be part of the history.

    What's the intent for the Alliance?

    I would think different names would apply to say an alliance of 4 corp each providing clone service but seperated by empire.

    Vs.

    Adding a new business like standing increases for people or even for corps.

    Good question. Due to the standing mechanic there will be no second corp like EACS, so that kind of corp separation you mentioned won´t work and is no point for us atm.

    Also the stnading increase won´t be offered by EACS, cause faction standing for POS´s is no longer needed after the patch.

    The intent is more a marketing effect like "Look, we´re creating alliances for free and we´re also in one." or something like that.
    The second intent is to pack a trading and/or investment corp under that alliance in the future.

    The idea for that came as i saw the Otherworld Empire from Chribba

    Empyrean is similar to Otherwordly in definition except for it is considered to be a higher place of existance (highest heavens). Since you offer a free service, that would put you above Chribba's 'Otherworld' Empire (in my opinion).

    After that you can keep with your corp by stating you are providing alliance services or you can go into words that describe your alliance as a business like the below words.

    Empyrean Alliance Services
    Empyrean Syndicate/Concordiat/Union/Orgainzation/Foundation/etc....


    If nothing else I hope this gives you some food for thought and will help guide you to a name you will enjoy.

    Maybe a bit mundane but: EACS Corporate Holdings - kind of an umbrella corp idea.
    The sub-corps could be something like:
    EACS Trading Unlimited
    EACS Investments
    EACS Brokerage and Bail Services
    and so on.



    Less mundane:

    Astral Corporate Establishment Services

    or

    Alliance Foundations

    Perhaps "One Billion Services", in reference to both the amount of services you offer and the Alliance fee?

    In more a realistic view perhaps,

    Galactic Operations

    Universal Services (though that's a bit close to another alliance)

    Empire Services Unlimited

    Corporate Alliance Services (CAS - then get a cool logo of Close Air Support Pirate)

    or something that promotes your idea of helping others
